Lazio are preparing a summer move for Monaco youngster Nicolas Isimat-Mirin, who was previously targeted by Fulham, Liverpool and West Ham.

The defender has been watched by the Premier League clubs during various periods over the past two seasons.

Liverpool and West Ham were both keen on him during his time at former club Valenciennes, before he switched to high-flying Monaco in a £3.5m deal last summer.

Fulham were tipped to bring him in during the January transfer window following his failure to make an impact at Monaco during the first half of the season.

He has made five of his six Ligue 1 appearances since the turn of the year, but despite greater first-team involvement, Lazio now feel they may be able to persuade him to leave with the promise of regular football in the Italian capital.

Barcelona are willing to cash in on Cristian Tello this summer - but Liverpool will have to fight off AC Milan to secure the Spanish winger's signature.

Liverpool have long been linked with the 22-year-old, who came through the ranks at Barca's famed La Masia academy. The Reds made a failed attempt to sign him on loan earlier this season.

The pacey wideman has struggled to nail down a regular berth since making his first-team breakthrough in the 2011-12 season, with 17 of his 19 La Liga appearances this term coming from the bench.

Tello has scheduled a meeting with Barcelona's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta for the end for the end of the season, but it is believed the Spanish champions are preparing to sell him if they receive offers in excess of £8m.

Sources in Italy claim Milan have already discussed a transfer with the player's agent Josep Maria Orobitg, while they are preparing to make a tentative approach to Barcelona in the coming weeks.

Udinese's Colombian striker Luis Muriel might become the subject of a big transfer tussle in the summer.

It has emerged that most of the top Italian clubs and Liverpool are interested in acquiring the services of the 23-year-old, according to Tutto Mercato.

Muriel was 19 when he joined Udinese from Colombian outfit Deportivo Cali in 2010 and was immediately loaned out to Granada to gain experience.

The Colombian returned to Udinese in 2012 and provided an assist on his debut against Fiorentina. He shared the Serie A Young Footballer of the Year award with AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy for the year 2012.

The young striker's pace and a keen eye for goal has attracted interest from AC Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio in Italy and even Liverpool are following the Colombian's progress with interest.

Muriel has a contract with Udinese that expires in 2018; the Italians are under no pressure to sell and only a very high bid might persuade Giampaolo Pozzo, the owner of the club, to sell his prized asset.

Muriel has made 23 appearances for Udinese in the Serie A this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Manchester United and Liverpool target and dynamic Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is uncertain on his future in Italy according to Tutto Mercato Web.

The 24-year-old who has had a sizzling season at Rome claims, "I feel good here, but still do not know what will happen."

The Bosnian has scored five goals and grabbed 6 assists for his club this season and his dazzling contributions in midfield has attracted the biggest of clubs all across Europe.

It is his creative imagination in the middle of the park which has seen him involved in 58 key passes this season leading to his side's goals.

It is believed that French Ligue One Champions Paris Saint Germain are ready to pay over the hill to land the Pjanic at Parc De Princes in the summer. Liverpool are also thought to be interested.

With the Financial Fair Play coming into effect, some reports have otherwise stated that Roma are keen to land Porto striker Jackson Martinez in the summer and might sacrifice Pjanic in the process.

David Amoyal, head of Football transfer and Serie A expert also feels Pjanic can leave even if he signs a contract extension.

Tello? That is odd, but he could be a steal at around £8m, much like Coutinho. Should definitely put a bid in for him.

  13. Can't play at the same time but would be good competition for each other. Would make Gerrard redundant too though.

The challengers are Fulham and West Ham? Seriously...?

Hey good players have gone to those teams, wouldn't throw the idea away because they are looking too. Not like Fulham didn't just buy one of the top strikers in the international game and greek league, and West Ham once bought a certain Tevez and Mascherano..... scrubs those guys!

I think he could be useful, but I worry he will be another Jovanavic (or whatever his name was). Surely, with Champions league and more money we could go for a top target like Reus?

I'm a big fan of Konoplyanka and I don't think he will turn out to be a Jovanovic.

We can get him for about £10m I reckon which is great value.

Reus would be great as well though.

He's definitely a big game player - as proven by his Europa League and International performances.

One of the few players who runs as quickly with the ball as he does without it. And his acceleration is frightening.
