Madrid have themselves to blame, they've not shown enough urgency in this, if Arsenal were playing like Madrid, I'd be well pissed off, for most of the game they been just playing like something will eventually happen, very slow, and very **** ideas. It's only in the last 10 minutes they've decided to turn up and realise that this is a home tie in the UCL semis.

They've been pretty clueless against Chelsea's 9 center backs, they just keep crossing it in the air

Don't understand why they didn't get their full backs involved, very rubbish narrow play, a very Arsenalish performance, narrow, slow, lack of ideas, movement.

slow as fuck , constantly pushing it wide and bunging stupid crosses in for Cahill to neck away .

As for general play , i have heard of one touch football , never before have i witnessed 6 touch football.

and that Diego character needs more chances than Giroud.

    Dire.

If the chavs had won that , they would have deserved it.

Did not get single clear cut chance. Chelsea deserved the win for defending all game? That's interesting.

Well Madrid are home, and shown **** all, so just for being so dire, they deserve to lose.

Also, that's not a bad result for Madrid. No away goal for Chelsea and they will have to be more open in the second leg, and that gives Madrid more space to counter. Going for a 1-1 at the Bridge, which will be enough for Atlético

And what did Chelsea do, to deserve the win? Home or away, does not matter in the CL at this stage, when the teams are so evenly matched. The away goal rule has become so important, and it leads to games like this.

they didnt get a clear cut chance ?

I saw about 6 ****e headers , about 4 crap shots that were miles off target.

    They had loads of chances.

And im sorry but you have to make the chances, they were too slow to create anything.
    Therefore they didnt deserve anything.

In my opinion of course , i hate chelsea but , you KNOW exactly how they were gonna play tonite ...and they got away with it.

PSG were 3-1 up and still ****ed it, Chelsea are very good at home in Europe.

Costa wasn't great but that Raul guy was worse, he had better chances and made a mess of all of them

Atletico have the best defence in Europe at the moment, Chelski think they are going to score a hatful against them at the bridge, they'd be wrong! <laugh>

Nothing, but because Madrid played so **** while at home, they deserve to lose. This is a UCL semi, show some ****ing desire-urgency, instead of playing like some ****ing friendly match.

Chelsea didn't deserve to win that game at all. They basically parked the bus in classic Maureen style. Athletico will definitely fancy their chances at the Bridge, one goal and the Chavs have to score two. The Chavs will probably come at them more at home and I think Athletico will get plenty of chances to score.

    good plan .

What if Chelsea get that first goal ?

They have not a cat in hells chance of getting the away goal at the bridge then , they bus will be even bigger and deeper.

**** Chelsea's home record. They are going to face the best defensive team in Europe and they will have to come out and play. Today they showed ZERO attacking ambition and made it really hard for Madrid to find any space. No away goal is crucial.

They've conceded just 5 goals in the CL this season. The chavs would do well to find a chink in their armour. Counter attacking football suits them best as well, so expect them to play like that in the 2nd leg.

Then they will throw everything they have in the knowledge that their goals are going to be worth double. Today, you can see that they were holding back a little purely because they did not want to concede that away goal.
