Please let Abramovich sack Mourinho and give him to United. They'll be begging for Moyes back after seeing that kind of ****e in a red shirt.

Ron Atkinson is waiting by the phone, knows the club inside out and won them a cup.

Moyes apparently was ridiculed by his senior players when he came in, before a ball was kicked.

Rio and Giggs allegedly undermined his authority repeatedly and turned the dressing room against him. One one instance a substitute widely reported to have been Giggs was heard to have asked the fourth official to send off Moyes - "we'd be better off without him".

If these are true (they probably aren't) then it makes me feel sad for Moyes. He tries so hard to be stern and harsh but it ends up coming out in a pathetic puppy dog way.

Its clear he wasn't up to it but the way the club treated him was awful (at least our players and club didn't abuse Hodgson like that) .

I also don't think the " successor of Fergie's successor will be under less pressure" argument is valid. If anything United fans expect an immediate rebound now to the times of Ferguson and winning. Looking at their comments they feel this is the bottom and that there is only one way to go from here. We know that isn't true and it can get much much worse. The next manager has to reverse what Moyes did and restore the glory to the club. Way more pressure.
