Harold can't win in my book unless we win the playoffs ... I have given him massive credit on here this season for a lot right and Henry was a brilliant buy ( although some can't see this!!!) With what he has built and our resources he only has himself to blame if we fail My expectations were to win the league by ten points ... sorry but that didn't happen and the Foxes got ahead through some very poor club and HR decisions Still we are now in the play offs and these games will define this season and the LR crowd has to also set right up now for cup football ... Very confident away from home we can contain any team in the play off ... we owe Wigan anyway so maybe its all shaping up ... Derby in the final for me a real cracker where our old players should have it all to prove
He's had by far the biggest budget in the league, not winning it is a failure. Contrast that with Burnley who sold their best players and spent just 180k in the last 18 months.
There was a good article on the BBC how he created a team spirit and got them all pulling in the same direction. Something we obviously lack, along with tactics and passion
Does the chicken go before the eggs or is it the eggs first or that dried up bit of nest that is Arry?? Seems to me everyone has to give 110 from the start including supporters..
The fans have tried that for months and it doesn't make any difference, why be a deluded happy clappy when it has no effect at all?
Well, now we're in the play offs I am 100% behind the team and everyone associated with it. Recriminations can wait now. I don't think any of us on here were expecting anything other than mid-table stability at the end of last season, so to be in the play offs with a chance of a Wembley final is fantastic. Whatever happens, in that home semi final LR MUST be rocking!!
I'm sure it will be unless we lose the first leg by 3 or more goals, the atmosphere will get nasty next season if he's still here no matter what division we are in. I'll be interested to see the ST sales in the summer.
Well said that mine. No matter what has gone on this season I'm excited by the playoffs. Gutted I can't make semis but literally can't wait for a day out at Wembley!! COYR's!
With a new manager but everyone I speak to is "suffering" watching us in order to get promoted. Imagine playing like that an losing every week.
To be honest the atmosphere has been pretty dire since they changed the seating arrangement and put the Family Stand in the Loft End. Some of the best games I've been to have housed their loudest fans behind a goal. With the away fans situated behind the other goal. (Fratton Park and Anfield) The difference in the noise generated from the Fratton End within Fratton Park with a similar attendance to ours (18k) is at times laughable.
