Only thing is with Van Gaal is that things go sour very quickly. But you are only after a short-term appointment so it should not be a problem
Only7 if the owners like to get involved. barcelona = owners tried to get involved bayern - president gets involved. van Gaal like all elite managers doesnt give a **** who the owner is or how powerful/respected they are. hes in charge and that is that. The Glazers are about as laid back as owners can be, I see few issues on that front.

Fell out with Cruyff at Ajax twice: over letting the youth academy slide. At Barca, the second time, he was fired because Barca were near the relegation zone. At Bayern he took them away from a CL place and Bundesliga challenge. Still he has done a lot of good things at these clubs too. And is better than Moyes obviously. Why is no one interested in Conte?
