Seems to be the general theme because we sacked a manager. Go **** yourselves you hypocritical ****s. Unless your club has the same manager since the day you were form then please **** off. Kind Regards, United fans.
If he'd have been at the helm of any of the other top PL sides, he'd have not lasted until Christmas It was only because he'd been anointed by SAF that he was given virtually the full season. He made a right dogs arse of it.
It annoys me that people haven't accepted that football has moved on from what it was. Bottom line is Moyes didn't do his job. In the real world you get sacked if you underperform on a consistent basis. It was quite clear Moyes wasn't up to the task set in front of him.
I thought YOU were saying that you've lost all respect for United after they sacked Moyes, UIR... I was like "WTF, you've been calling for this for ages, have you lost your brain?!" I think other fans are just enjoying the whole saga at our expense. I don't blame them to be honest, after the Fergie era a lot was made of the fact that Moyes was given 6 years because we believe in stability and a British manager was good enough etc etc. Everyone loves the big boys being brought down to size, let them enjoy it while they can!
United was going to buck the trend. British manager, outside the elite of foreign managers, long term philosophy, no quick impulsive firing...Shame it didn't work out.
Moyes didn't really deserve to be Utd Manager anymore if we're honest. Doesn't mean we're NOT all sad at his untimely passing. I think it would have been a much classier statement to wait until after the season was over to officially boot him out the door mind.
Exactly - Poor management equals loss of job. Same goes for football. United have just been extremely fortunate to have had such a great manager in SAF for so many years. Let's face it, no one was going to come in and pick up exactly where SAF left off. United will get the right man for the job eventually, but the possibility of having short term managers for a few years is quite certain. Unless they get lucky and land the perfect manger straight away. They need someone like Rodgers or Martinez - Young, but know the modern game inside out.
To be honest, I've been wumming about Moyes since he joined. But I would like to see Utd up their challenging again. The Liverpool/Utd rivalry is special, and to have that revamped would be good in my opinion.
never really had any respect for you guys but i honestly think it was the right decision. you should have sacked him after we whacked you 3-0 at old trafford. do you guys think that europa league is still attainable?
Or rather continue along the line of our previous appointment. We did end up copying Liverpool though, by treating like **** and then sacking an old school manager painfully out of his depth. Followed the LFC blueprint to perfection there.
No. The ******ed scousers copied the likes of stoke, West ham, crystal palace, WBA, Newcastle. United are in that small group of global clubs operating at a much higher level
you're 8th also every post ive read of yours has '******ed scousers' included in it. what else ya got boy
We are ****. I know that. You are the ******ed scousers because that's who you are and will always be, boy...
yet i quote you saying "United are in that small group of global clubs operating at a much higher level". delusions of grandeur? or did you forget to take your meds this morning? both im guessing
well yous got your wish ,,just what happens if giggs or say the fat Dutchman fooks it up.. does that mean the players are still good enough or they run your club
Agree with you there Sky. In my lifetime Utd and Liverpool have only really competed for the same title in 1988 and 2009, and both of those seasons were all over bar the shouting by around mid March. Must be a bit frustrating for you guys that you've finally hit the top of the league and you won't be beating us to the title. Obviously it won't take the shine off it if you win, but it I reckon it would've been sweeter if you'd beaten us to it - same as it would have been for us in 93 if it had been Liverpool in 2nd rather than Villa. Here's hoping the next 5-10 years finally sees some proper nail biting title races between the two of us (as long as Utd win them all of course )
well we all know for a fact that rooney is bigger than the club. how many times has he asked for a pay rise (undeservedly of course) and they have just bent over and given it to him. too many times to count
