It is. How is saying Spurs havent spent anything different to us saying Mcgregor was free?

Erm, we havent. If I blow my whole month's salary on booze and gambling can i say I spent nothing cos I had it covered by my income?

You started it by saying they'd spent nothing!

I'm confused; I was out on the piss last night with my lad and I thought I'd spent £30, but I won £42 on the bandit, did I spend nothing?

    I can't resist 500/1, I'm going for Moyes.

That's a bit poor. (I thought that was the odds on next Man Utd manager!).

I think 500/1 would be worth a punt if the fans voted for the award.

As much as I hate to say it, Rodgers will win it, & Pulis won't be far off, but I expect Mourinho to be runner up.
Unless of course Liverpool blow it like we almost did last year when our bottle went at the key moment.

Rodgers did really well considering he has had a mid life crisis at the same time

Honestly, can't a man whiten his teeth, lose weight and leave his wife and kids for some blonde skirt without people accusing him of having a midlife crisis these days? <laugh>

But that money has gone on booze pissed down the toilet and betting slips thrown to the floor of the bookies. Spurs still have the value of the players they acquired. In theory they could get the value of those players back through sales. Your comparison isn't really a good one.

Although of course those players aren't worth what Spurs paid for them.

What has Pulis done to deserve it . OK he's kept Palace up, but if we survive then Brucie has kept us up and reached the FA cup final for the first time ever. Brucie deserves it more than Pulis IMO , even though I believe it will go to Rodgers.

Really? Palace were so bad pre-Pulis (ie November) that they were 1/14 with the bookies to be relegated. Lord only knows what price the bookies would have quoted someone asking for odds against a top-11 finish.

and Liverpool were at 30-1 to win the league
I think our odds at the start of the FA cup were 150-1 to win it, combined with our odds to stay up far outweigh both Managers

I love how Nige worries you yet you have no qualms with "Next Man City Manager".

It's the LMA Manager of the Year award. Nigel would be in with a decent chance (wouldn't win but would probably be in the top 5/6).
