What a ridiculous situation it is,sacking a manager with three games to go and giving the job to a player with no coaching experience
Well they are a mess at the moment. Have a feeling United's problems aren't solely down to the manager. Wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle again next season.
Why gives them longer to find the right manager before pre-season and it's not like they have anything to play for, is it? Probably prefer to lose their final 3 games.
So, an interesting question for Arsenal fans. Wenger declines a new contract at Arsenal, and is signed by United, backing him with a 200M transfer kitty. He spends the lot. Success or failure? - How would you feel?
I would feel that besides Wenger being past it, it would mean that he is also a classless ****. And I would feel that your question isn't "interesting" at all, just stupid.
He already has a good squad at his disposal that he has built himself over a numbers of years, but has still failed to win the league in over 9 years. The problem is a little more than just money with Wenger. His best days are clearly past him, and in my opinion, he would still not win the league with £200m at his disposal. There are better managers in the Premiership than him at the moment, and one, which has clearly got his number.
I would have thought if it wasn't interesting you wouldn't have bothered to reply, but I cant see how he would be any less classless that the Arsenal fans that think he is "past it". How come, no body wants him at Arsenal, but they don't want United to have him either? Was Moyes a classless **** for joining United? Managers change clubs all the time, how come if Wenger does it, when he so clearly isn't wanted at Arsenal, he becomes a classless ****?
He is too classy to ever go to Man U. Also he has invested too much time and effort into Arsenal and will most probably end his domestic career with Arsenal. The last piece of the puzzle for him is to win something significant for Arsenal, unfortunately he isn't the Wenger of old and others have over taken him.
Can't a question be stupid enough to incite a response? You can't think you get so much 'feedback' around here because your posts are interesting?!
Good news for Manure - as a result of the sacking, their shares have shot up 6 points on the Yank stock market
If United get the right man in, this could be bad news for Arsenal, given that we will do our usual bargain basement summer buying, and missing out on big stars. AUgust/September time the line be along the lines of "Walcott, Diaby, .. are all back fit, so no need to sign anyone". If United get their act together, and we won't make top four next season, assuming the 3 above us (and Everton) strengthen. If SAF had still been there we'd have struggled this year. This has to be seen as a big warning shot to AW et al that they have to up their game big style. There are now 3 credible teams in the hunt for 4th. Top 3 will be beyond us next year, with the current doctrine.
