Who makes those odds? Pellegrini and Mourinho? The latter a possibility depending on champions league success, the former no ****ing chance.

Gus ****ing Poyet at 66/1 with Steve Bruce at 100/1?

These are the rumblings of a lunatic. Get your cash out before someone with a working brain sees what's happened and corrects it.

Betting on anyone other than Rodgers or Pulis would be pointless.

I think he's the opposite of Moyes in that he has been very, very lucky. How many of his signings have done as well as they should? I would argue only Sturridge and Mignolet. People forget how much he paid for Joe ****ing Allen and he STILL moans about lack of squad depth. He has spent ****loads, it just doesnt show because the players he inherited have done very well with the massive benefit of not playing in Europe. If he'd done better last season and qualified for Europe I have literally zero doubt that they'd be nowehere near the title race.

All of these things about his second season could easily have applied to Moyes next season.

Back to the point, Bruce has got no chance adn he doesnt deserve to win. He's done well, but MotY? Come off it.

It can't and won't be Bruce.

He has done really well, but it is just impossible to look beyond Rodgers and Pulis.

Luck always plays a part; he didn't get much at The KC though; best home day this season:smile:

You do know if Liverpool win the league, they'll be the first team to do so without competing in Europe?

What's that got to do with it? I said if they were playing in Europe this season if Brendon hadnt done such a ****e job last season then they wouldnt be challenging for the title. Do you disagree with that?

Yes I do, if it made that much difference it would have happened before now. If they were in Europe they'd have had a bigger squad to cope with the extra games.

And part of that bigger squad would have been better quality players, so if anything I'd bet they'd have been better off.

And if they do lose to them, they'll still be 2 points clear.

Liverpool have won it, and Rodgers will win MOTY, no doubt about it whatsoever.

Rogers will get it as no one tipped Liverpool for the title.

Pulis shouldn't be that far ahead of SB. Both Palace and City were heavily tipped for relegation but while Pulis has Palace comfortably safe, we should be safe and have also reached an FA Cup Final.

What were the odds on Moyes? :D

You mean like the way Spurs big squad they spent £100m on drove them on to the top 4 and then the title?

Spurs didn't actually spend anything, just just swapped one good player for lots of **** ones.

I didnt say net spend and they still spent money. That's like saying we havent spent anything on Mcgregor cos we sold Evans and Tom. Or we havent spent anything on Shane Long cos the cup run has earned his transfer fee.

    It's not really is it.

I'll put it another way, we spent £25m more than Spurs this season.

Those signings will have jacked up their wage bill by a good £15m a year, though.

Probably, I can't understand why they appointed Villas-Boas, he looked completely out of his depth at Chelsea.
