    Various perspectives as ever.

I am pleased that we get at least a couple more games and get to cheer the lads. A day out at Wembley would be amazing though I would have to take the view, for sanity sake, that we are likely to lose that. I know it sounds mad but I would have to seriously dampen expectations just to not be too gutted if we do lose.

This season has shown that on any given day, any team in this league is able to beat another no matter how lowly or high their respective positions.

We may not be the bookies favourites but we have a chance and we need to give this thing a damn good go.

    COYRsss!!!!!!!

The first thought was that we didnt have a chance in the play offs, but then again we are QPR and EVERYTHING is possible.....IF we somehow succeeded to win the promotion we must broke somekind of record as the most dissatisfied fans of the club who just win a promotion. Football world is crazy.

I will always be positive and support our team. I was there at every home game and some away games last season, even when we looked doomed. I am glad we've got a chance of promotion but.... are we not allowed to complain on here? Sometimes there are some negatives that I'd like to talk about. HR is at the helm whilst we're pretty much achieving our goals currently. But I still don't like the way things are currently and don't want us making similar mistakes.

Basically, I want our old QPR back, with the feeling that LR used to have and the enjoyment I used to have watching our team. Hopefully those days are on the horizon now. I don't see why they shouldn't be.

I recieved some criticism yesterday with not being perfectly happy with things. Do you think it's realistic to tell me to just be chuffed after I've experienced the last few years of QPR goings on? I am always hopeful and will cheer no matter what.

Good point Eamon to be fair and I am having trouble bottling it up as always said we should all moan afterwards nor during .. to that I apologise to this forum

We have to get behind the team now and have to accept that we are a money bags team now and that carries a envy from everyone. We made the play offs and yes i am disappointed but this thread is more in keeping to what i believe a QPR fan should be like Well said Eddie

Awjm, to be honest everybody is allowed there say and opinion at any given time.
mine is that whilst we may be playing like barca with a bunch of over payed has beens, I've seen a lot of crap over the last 20 years that is worse than what we see now,
ive been there when crowds were 5-6 k and playing Vauxhal motors, Oxford and some other eal ****e teams.

Granted, the players used to appear to care more, but i dont think any previous team had he skill of the team we have now.
i know many are going to shout "the promotion team" but we were a 1-man team and even COLIN has acknowledged that. What got them through was there team spirit etc.

So like i say mate, ive seen what appears to me to be a lot worse, i just think that because weve got a few household names, peoples expectancy may be a little too high.

harrys job was to perform major surgery on and decrepid team with a massive cancer, whilst keeping us competitive and in the running. so far (by hook or crook) he has done that. and if we go up then he has done what he was apointed to do.

I dont buy into all the hype that says if we had the old promo team or adel or ali or....we'd walk this league. I think thats bollox mate. We still gave the ball away regularly and if you believe that Derry could handle players like Drinkwater etc then i'm sorry but we'll have to agree to disagree.

Im not saying is a great manager, just lets judge harry for where we end up at the end of the play offs. Thats my view anyway.<ok>

Ive been as critical as ever over the last few months but thought our intensity in the last 20 minutes was excellent and my only criticism is could we start like it now and again!!! a la Liverpool. I know its easier said than done but we could have put some games to bed by half time but does not seem in Arrys nature since he came to Rangers unlike when he was at Spurs?!

Now I don't want to put a dampener on things, but I'm a structural engineer specialising in the reduction of resonance.

Fair views but there are still some things I disagree with:

One is the comment on us being a one-man team in our promo season. AT definitely deserved player of the year but it was not a one-man team. It was the rest of the team that allowed him to play like that and there were so many good performances by all of the team. Also, us supporters were pretty much fond of every player in the squad. The feeling about the team was really good, and the manager actually. Why is it different this time? Because people are being more judgmental and quick to judge? I don't think so.

I think Harry has done a decent job at managing the personalities at the club and getting rid of wasters. Bar one player, they all seem to have a good attitude.

My initial argument was that Harry simply doesn't have game plans. The team often seems to be unsure of what they're really doing and they seem unguided, and we don't seem to have a philosophy of football at the club. In this league we get away with it mostly because of the sheer quality of the players in comparison to the opposition. I believe that's mostly why we are where we are. But that will not carry us in the PL, if we're promoted. If Harry suddenly switched into gear I'd consider keeping him if I was the man in charge. But all season he has not shown enough, for my liking, to warrant another season managing us.

I also disagree about people's expectancy being too high generally. I think people's attitude about this tends to be that we're spending an awful lot of money on contracts without results. If the expenditures bear fruit, less people would be happy. A lot of people think a lot of money is being wasted and we're buying season tickets going to see poor football when, on paper, the team are exceptionally high quality for this league.
