If United and spurs get half decent managers in then next season will be a top 6 ding dong battle. I'm discounting Everton because they won't have their best player. You know that United will throw £100m+ at a new manager. Our hope would be that Liverpool burn out with the extra games.
There's a chance that Man Utd won't even be playing in Europe next season and as such could struggle to attract top players
They're Man United, the name alone sells the club to prospective players. Same as us, i reckon we could miss out on CL for a year and still attract talent, it's the badge, and how much you're willing to pay. I'd wager that not many players care about the CL anymore, these days it's all about the bottom line.
I hear city really struggled to get top players when they had no CL. This is United. Big name. Big money. They won't struggle
Citeh could pay over the odds and sell a vision.Don't forget it's costing Utd £72 million a year to service their debt.
I don't think they will.If media rumours are to be believed, how many of their transfer targets did they fail to get last summer ?

See comment above. Shall we go on a hunt to see if we can dig out some more ? I think it's clear who's spouting the waffle here
So it's done, what a bunch of jokers, United can no longer claim to be unique, they're like all other clubs now in sacking a coach.
Giggs has been given the job until the end of the season.I wonder if they'll now put a "chosen one" banner in the Stretford End for him.
I personally can see AVB wanting to take another stab at redemption in English football management after his two failures here so far.
