Yeah, most of the stuff he does is ****. Call or Delete, the quiz with the **** robot etc. And he seems to love just being famous and being known, he's always banging on about someone famous he's met or someone he's seen. Its definitely aimed at teenagers (all of radio 1), you can tell by the way the presenters all talk, everything is 'amazing' and everyone is a 'legend', that's especially the case with Fearne Cotton. She's a 30 something year old trying to act like a 18 year old. But I've got to say I like the idea of the mixtape thing where Grimshaw just plays constant music from 9 until 10 on Friday. That's one of the things he's actually improved.
I only listen up until 9 due to work and then listen again from 5. must say Greg James is actually alright. And do have a soft spot for Scott Mills despite him having the self confessed music taste of a 13 year old girl I just don't listen to R1 in the morning's anymore and instead listen to a smaller local station. Actually play some decent music, not just all current chart stuff. Do miss Chris Moyles and his ramblings though... morning drives to work just aren't the same anymore for me!
Wrong as usual.... You patently ignore the fact most of us, especially me, have factored utd back next season into each and every discussion on future. I'm well on record that utd will be back and have not bought into the utd decline crap However.... I think you are far too wound up about others having the laugh you enjoyed MANY time at others expense... And this fear crap when moyes is yet to be sacked or a mythical new world class manager takes over, further you've all the same issues to fix if it does happen. Fear.... Pah... Get on with your rebuilding, lfc knows full well this season is unique and as John Henry said frankly it's well ahead of any schedule we had and while we love it we should know it's going to be a lot harder next year but we are up for the challenge again
This is the only emoticon with candles so I can have that vigil that UIR suggested. I'm shattered - he should have been given ten years, then another ten to get them back into the Premier League.
I listened to Radio 2 when I was a teenager/preteen. I was old even when I was a kid! Not being in the UK, I listen to BBC World Service during my commute to work these days.
You can get it (BBC Radio 2) in the States on digi, can't you? Janice Long had an interview with Horace Gentleman last week and they played Gangsters and Ghost Town. A third of a ****ing century ago.... Jeez, someone walked on my grave that night.
There's a glimmer of hope - United have officially denied he's been sacked but have refused to comment on his future. They must be waiting for Howard Webb to commit himself.
Can there be anyway back now for Moyes, the lack of support is a certain deal beaker? This has got to undermine his status? I am honestly surprised. One day after CL football mathematically impossible, he gets the bums rush. Would have given him summer at least pos first few months, that said i would not have given roy an hour more.
Not so, it is an important change within the organisation, that could have a serious effect on the direction of the shares. They will have to report it, just not before they sack him, but as soon as possible afterwards.
Phil Neville has to go if Moyes does, but he's still well in at OT, like Moyes he **** on Everton and knew well in advance he was gonna be Moyes no2 at yoonited.
Mark Ogden of the Telegraph: "David Moyes will be sacked as Manchester United manager on Tuesday after the club’s owners, the Glazer family, decided to end the Scot’s disastrous tenure at Old Trafford. Ryan Giggs, with Nicky Butt as his assistant, will take charge until the end of the season. Giggs has served as player-coach under Moyes while Butt has worked with the reserves. The Glazers have handed executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward the mandate to dismiss Moyes less than 12 months into his £4million-a-year, six-year contract after United’s defeat at Everton on Sunday confirmed their failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Moyes is likely to receive compensation of one year’s salary rather than the remaining five years of his deal, with key performance targets having been missed in United’s worst *campaign for almost a quarter of a century. He will be forced to endure the humiliation of reporting for training before the formalities of his departure are completed..."
The ****s are only sacking him early to take the shine off the title race, media frenzy to get him sacked then the media frenzy to name his successor.
Fungus's big mistake was not booting Rooney when he had the chance! now he's like a leach on the club, too well payed to drop or sell, offers virtually nothing in the current setup. Fergie of old would have given him the boot as he did with Beckham and Ronaldo, not because they weren't good enough but because the team became to reliant on one player and also that they started to be a threat to his dictatorship of the club. I honestly thought he was bored with rebuilding United and that's why he left, tbf to him his parting shot was to leave the door open to Rooney leaving, but I believe Moyes couldn't get a replacement in time. Then it was either a choice of giving him a pay rise or letting him run out his contract which may have got him more stick. I feel bad for Moyes, he was left the bare bones of a crumbling squad and a useless V. Chairman, not surprising that he failed, but hes not good enough either.
RVP the whistleblower and instigator, notice how him and Rooney are like strangers on the pitch this sreason. please log in to view this image
