Rumours are Saints and a few other clubs are trying to sign him. I had never heard of him until about a year ago, when he moved to Coventry. He is a Southampton lad, he was under our noses the whole time but we never made a move for him all those years ago. Does anyone know the reason for this?

Wasn't he in the academy? We released him and he ended up at Swindon before Everton signed him up.

Not see too much of him to be honest, heard he's got a poor attitude but he's only young so may have grown up.

Not sure if he ever was part of the academy. But he must of played for a Tyro team etc of some sort in his younger days surely?

Lukas Jutkeiwicz seems to get mentioned as a transfer target more regularly than his talent deserves.

I remember seeing that goal he scored for motherwell. Apart from that I know nothing about him. Is he actually any good?

I'm not convinced he is any good, 9 goals in 40 odd games for Coventry hardly screams impressive.

I think he seems to get mentioned a lot purely the fact he is from Southampton. If he wasn't I doubt he'd ever be linked/thought about.

I did the same thing. One of the best games I've ever seen and that's saying something as I couldn't give less of a **** about Scottish football.

We let him go very young. He was excellent at school for us, and I think every single person in our year (including myself) were really pleased for him when Swindon came in.

In a way, it not working for him with us did him a favour in the sense that it allowed him the freedom to focus on finishing school and getting his GCSE's (he's a bright lad).

went to mountbatty, was a bit of a twat. Played againt him in the FA youth cup, in 06/07, bastard dived in the last min of extra time to get a penalty making is 2-2. Swindon went on to win. Despise him.

Checked out an interview with him and he speaks more intelligently than your average player, which I suppose could suggest intelligence on the pitch as well. Also has a pretty interesting family history on the Polish side. Rather similar to my own.

To be fair the average footballer can't string a sentence together.

He's from Southampton and all his family still live in Southampton. Could be very tempted with a move down south
