Who do you want now we have new candidates as per top 8 on Sky bet? S Dyche J Magilton G Westley T Butcher R Keane J Hughes B Laws M Robins
I will keep saying this untill he gets another job- Chris Hughton with SD as his no2. However i would not mind Nigel Gibbs but he will need help from Dyche.
Wasn't aware the club had announced any candidates! Or are you referring to the bookies' ridiculously long list of names that may bear no resemblance whatsoever to the club's actual shortlist?
Agree 1) Having had a Twitter exchange with Jon Marks, the new head of recruitment is Ross Wilson. Does he know anything much? Why isn't GT more involved? 2) The club have just signed Craig Forsyth - to me this means the new manager is already influencing decisions - me thinks it is Sean Dyche - for better or worse. I wanted Gary Waddock, but Steve Hayes has played hard ball - and won IMO.
Hughton seems the clear favourite for the Birmingham job, so think we may have to look past him! If Dyche can get an experienced No.2, then I would be happy to have him as boss. Not sure what number 2s are out there... I know I've said it before, but would ask about Terry Burton's availability now. I always wonder why Pat Rice is never considered for Management positions... is he really that happy at being a No.2 his whole career???
Apparently, and according to someone who often gets these things right, Sean Dyche will be offered the job, despite being offered the Assistant Manager job at Cardiff. We'll wait and see...
Where did you hear that, if you don't mind me asking? Sounds very plausible! Who do you follow on twitter for info??
In an ideal world it'd be a younger Graham Taylor. Then again, in an ideal world we wouldn't be in debt, incompetent £%^$s such as Dasani wouldn't have anything to do with the club, and in all probability we wouldn't be having this discussion. As Elixir and Hornette say, the signs point towards Sean Dyche making decisions at the moment, which in my opinion firmly suggests that either him or Ardley will get the job.
the Moose also said that if SD doesn't take the job, it looks like it'll be Graham Westley. And you're welcome to have a peek at me to see who i follow
None of the above - realistically the choice of options is sparse so I'd say David Jones. In an ideal world it would be Jose Mourinho but I doubt we could tempt him from Real madrid - the Escourt is a decent enough pub and there's always some nice bargains to be had in the Harlequin centre but would it be enough?
Oh, it's obvious now.... haha Ok, following and see if there are any others on your list I fancy following! Cheers
No one's mentioned Jose 'The Special One' Mourinho. If he needs any advice he can always ask Brenda!!!!
The good thing about Jones is that he builds a siege mentality, in a slightly less provocative way than the likes of Colin and Davies. The bad thing about Jones is that he doesn't know when to pick his battles, something that Malky and BR (in very different ways) are masters at. Hornets fans, more than just about any other set of supporters in the country, will not go along with their manager telling the media something which the whole world can see is rubbish. Unless of course the results are exceptional, as they were during Boothroyd's first full season. Because boy did he come out with some post-match nonsense!
