I always knew Sordell would come good, you just have to be patient.

Actually contemplated walking out after 0-2 down to spend my last few hours in massive country with my friends. Then a Easter Monday miracle happened. Well 2 - a sordell hat-trick and a charlton win! Best possible outcome from the milwall match, but sadly Brighton slipped up. Won't take away from an, eventual, good day! Look forward to seeing the goals again, thought Hamer could have done better on the first goal.

Yeah, what an idiot, eh? He's only gone and won his fifth match in thirteen, and he's only gone and made the most of the threadbare squad we have, and he's only gone and put us in an excellent position to escape the drop.

The Harriott and Sordell link-up play was superb, and it was great to see us looking dangerous on the attack.

Fox was/is a revelation; his decision making and composure on the ball are testament to the fine work of Paul Hart and his team.

The look on the Owls' faces outside the ground was delightful - especially after their early bluster. :emoticon-0173-middl

I'm off for a meal at Sakushi in the city centre.

No one wanted sordell to play so we all got that wrong ... I'm happy to be wrong Harriott is a good player I've always supported him BUT has to be played in his rightful position he was simples.
Good win we move on to Blackburn

Wrong about Sordell, MT. I've supported him throughout the season and you will not find a negative post with my name attached. He is frustrating, yes, but his talent is undoubted and he remains our most potent goalscorer.

    Is Riga still an idiot?

reserve my judgement re if we stay up though as I said today well done . As for sordell he's been dreadful but maybe he'll come good for last couple of games of his loan.
When we signed him I thought great he score a hatful but fair play to him and it was CP that signed him !

You were alone then on the sordell thing ponders I tended to agree with vol when he said sordell was the worst value loan in our history until today

Thanks for that SIG. Always nice to win, but man, beating that bunch of toe rags is just sweet. We should post that pre match build up every time we play them.

they write it up like that every time. always more satisfying beating them than 99% of other teams. i'd go as far to say most of them are delusional about their teams own ability and past. at least we're realistic with ours. not seen one fan from 'op' there have the good grace to say they lost fairly (again, and again and again to us lol).

I don't understand why they hate us so much. Sure, the promotion season was built on a solid defence, but it wasn't overly negative, even at Hillsborough.

Leeds are nowhere near as deluded as them. I'm amazed that they managed to make Sheff Utd fans look like a reasonable, level-headed crowd in 2012.

Owlstalk is an entertaining read whenever I'm feeling bored. But no matter how much they may want, they are not rivals.

Well done to Riga and the team today. Very happy to be wrong in what I said about the team selection and Sordell. A very good chance of staying up now.

You can't beat a nice slice of humble pie for breakfast, Mike. Personally I did not think Sordell was that good yesterday, he finally found two centre halves who were even slower and lazier than he was.

Riga on the other hand deserves "massive" credit for picking a brave team which confounded expectations with our own centre halves and keeper not at their best.

Beat Blackburn on Saturday and we will stay up.

Solly & Harriott good. We always look a better team with little Chris in it.

You can't erase the large stain that Sordell has created over the course of the season. I don't care if he scores 10 in the remaining games, he will never be one of ours.

Oh and well done Riga ... I thought he'd messed it up with starting 11 and then goin 2 0 down expected a confidence shattering hammering .
4 points from next 2 then don't have to worry bout last game at Blackpool.

Yep, at 2-0 I was really starting to believe the 'save 4m' conspiracy theory, and it's nice to wake up this morning with three points and the possibility that the manager knows more than I do.

Harriott was probably MOM. Both full backs were solid, though Solly could have done better on the second goal. Will put that down to rust.
