I thought that very same thing. Quality player. Though Nige seems to like wingers who will do the dirty work and track back also. Look at the work rate of Knocky and Mahrez. We can't afford to carry any passengers. Like the MON days, our team is based on hard work and committment.
Mark Davies from Bolton http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/11153931._/?ref=mac ... interesting reference to a 'source close to the player' ... if it wasn't that he seems incredibly injury prone I'd be up for this one - very talented player on a pair with DD and MJ in terms of ability IMHO
Doh, just seen previous comments regarding Sako.....news gets down to South Wales a bit slower obviously lol
Pearson quite bullish on our transfer activity... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27067164 "Pearson said most people would probably never have heard of his real targets." That's what I like to hear!
Apparently we are being linked with a guy named Keynes Landa (or very similar) who is currently plying his trade in Australia but previously played at a much higher level
I also heard we were linked with one Lester Gonacrumble, but I think that's an ambitious signing, more out of hope than expectation.
Just a name to toss in there. I think Steve Sidwell would be a great signing. Out of contract in June so he's free, won't be on a huge wage, plenty of PL experience and a really good player. I'd love us to have a look at him but feel he's exactly the kind of player a newly promoted side needs.
I think Sidwell would be good competition for Drinkwater, i think they are too similar to play together though.
Sam Byram from Leeds ... hope this one has some substance!!! http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leicester-city-line-up-move-for-leeds-defender/
Haha Jack you have no idea - so much more enjoyable than long drawn out competition for big names! One of my best summers!!
