Nothing much has changed since last summer. They're still one of the biggest clubs in the world and if the rumours are true that they're willing to spend big this summer then not many managers would say no. If anything not directly following Fergie could make the job more attractive.

Klopp & Simeone would both be interested. Yes they've had tremendous success and will be in the champions league next season, but they're both at clubs who continually have to sell their best players.

Getafe are in only their 10th top flight season, are 18th and play in a 17,000 seater stadium.

A couple of Europa League campaigns but that's all. No major cup wins. Not much financial backing at all.

Henry Winter says Giggs will have it long term, if that helps.

There's clearly been a briefing, as shown by Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Independent etc. all going live with their stories at the same time.

Sky have been left out of the loop, it would seem.

I see there is an open vote on the Sky Sports website asking if Moyes should be given more time. I voted Yes. :)

Looks like Moyes is a goner. Far too hasty for my liking - we could have finished above them next season!

ManU players have a lot to answer for as well...not all the managers fault.

Judging by the unimaginative, predictable rigidity of his tactics this season, I'd be willing to go as high as 80% manager's fault.

I think the Everton match was pertinent. It wasn't just the result, it was the manner and the circumstance. Martinez has inherited, what is essentially, Moyes team, and got them playing beautifully and he's definitely improved them. Moyes has inherited a League winning side and things have gone downhill dramatically. And although they were beginning to look as though they were getting it together in previous matches, Everton made them look distinctly ordinary, for all their huff and puff and possession.

It's just hit me who would turn round Man Utd. He would never have let this happen. Cortese in.

Yep, it was a tough job to follow Fergie and he had some players facing the end of their careers but that side should at least of been a serious contender for the top 4. The real damning evidence is the manner of sum of the defeats and the style of play.

Moyes was a manager whose reputation was built on preparation, but it's been a shambles from the start. He seemed to know nothing about the squad and still has not picked the same team back to back. Made a panic buy in Fellaini with no real idea of where to play him. For some unknown reason extended Nani's contract.
All of this goes tits up and to compound things Martinez takes his team and turns it up a gear in both style and results, almost tarnishing his 10 years of building that club up.
