The two sides i had down for promotion this current season sheff utd,and us started off very badly.

Both have changed managers and both have forward momentum going into next season.

I am going to put it on record that these will be the two sides to go up next season.

SC has steadied the ship, has had a good look at what he has at his disposel and knows what he requires to take city up.

It can only get better for us long suffering fsns.

Clough has done well at Sheff U - they must be favourites for promotion next season?

I remember when Millen did a good job keeping us competitive when we were edging close to the relegation spots under GJ.

I remember when McInnes did a good job of keeping us up when relegation looked certain under Millen.

Both went on to better things. Millen managed Crystal Palace for a bit and is still the assistant there with Pulis. McInnes is also doing extremely well north of the wall.

I'm not saying that SC will fall to pieces on us, but I am saying that we're not suddenly the best team in a weak league because we're mathematically safe. I'm still yet to be convinced that SC's methodology will match that of the owners, so I'll continue to hold my opinion of SC until we get the next transfer window underway.

There will still be other competition next year.

Aside from Wolves and Brentford this season, IMO the 2 other really good sides in this division are PNE and Rotherham, and I wouldn't bet against one of those two winning the Play Off Final but one will still be here next season, or both possibly if they screw it up.

Then there's Orient who have faded badly and Peterboro who are inconsistent and who have lost 4 more games than we have. I don't think there is much to fear coming up from L2, but from the Championship the three relegated teams will fancy their chances, just like we did.............
