Januzaj is more like Silva... different type of player developing than Sterling.

If Sterling continues to play as a no 10 however, he could well be much better.

Sterling is very versatile, his passing is incredible of late imo. I do prefer him on the wing a bit more though, as his movement, pace and thought process of the game make him such a weapon.

Januzaj isn't a bad player, don't think he'll be another Macadea (or whatever he's called)
With a decent manager who can get the best out of him he could be damn decent.
Right now Sterling is a fair bit ahead of him, he's also shown that he's got more to his game, can play either side of the wings, been playing at the tip of the Diamond and also played RB a couple of times..

    Question guys.

Whats Sterling like when the chips are down. Hes looking pretty good while you are flying but what about the tough times?

I wonder what Januzaj will be like when United are back flying.

Versitility isnt a good thing for young players. Need to settle on one position. Applies to both Sterling and januzaj.

In a defensive sense I would agree but up front the more versatile you are the better, gives the manager more options.

Yesterday was a perfect example. We were not playing well, Norwich were battering us and Sterling took hold of the game and won it for us.

I still think Sterling's most impressive display was at OT at the head of a diamond, where he physically dominated Fellaini even though he's a foot shorter and weighs 30kg less. It cannot be overstated just how much Stirling's attitude and physical strength offsets his small stature: has anyone ever seen him duck out of a challenge with any player, no matter what size? You combine that with his unquestioned skill and breathtaking pace AND ACCELERATION, and what a player.

It's often said that Rush was Liverpool's first line of defence in that he never, ever stopped harrying defenders and midfielders when they had the ball, and Stirling and Suarez (and to some degree Studge) do the same.

Januzai is obviously a special talent, but as UIR* says he's playing in a dire team at the moment with no plan or direction - or confidence. If United improve next season, which is not a given by any measure, we'll be able to judge him better.

    * Sorry I got the wrong end of the stick over that candlelit thing yesterday. I jumped to conclusions. You're always welcome to post on here and it'll be remembered that you never hid when times were hard. <ok>

I don't think we'll ever know while Moyes is in charge as he'll ruin him along with any other young player he gets his hands on.
