Thats it isnt it then smith. Your just afraid you will make tge same mistake again. There differemt people smith. Fergie took time but he was a winner. Moyes just isnt. People do not become winners. You either are or you are not.
Nani has been overlooked for most of the season yet the first chance he gets to put on the shirt he gave 100%. Same with Kagawa. Carrick is a senior player ffs. Could you imagine Giggs or Scholes giving up? Like fck you would. Carrick is the worst type of player - worse than someone like Young who cant help being **** whereas Carrick is a fcking surrender monkey who doesnt care about the shirt, the club or the fans. I used to like him but it's during tough times you find out someone's true character.
yeahh you said no jinx thread? Moyes if you have any dignity, PLS resign tomorrow I don't think it is his own fault why UTD is so sh!t ... but sure he is not the right one to lead the club fkn hell we were 2-0 down and the guy was sitting in his bench clueless .. yeahh i bet Sir Alex would had stayed motionless at the the bench watching his team playing like sh!t
For me 8 months is like a heartbeat and one/two seasons are nothing ( when compared with 11 successful seasons) . Or is it 12 I've lost count there were so many...
I think thats bullshit. I think you are clambering for any excuse you can in defence of moyes or in an effort to absolve him of blame. Carricks never ever run around like crazy or tracked back or put in a shift. Hes not tgat sort of player. Hes had bad games at times but usually because hes got the wrong partner oe because he plays every single game and nwver rests. Incredibly harsh and completely random to blame Carrick.
This guy got it much sooner that expected. One minute he was camped in moyes rectum, the next he would gladly murder his children.
The only thing random is you mate. I havent mentioned Moyes and I wish you'd stop making out that just bcos someone doesnt want Moyes sacked is only posting to defend him. I never mentioned Moyes and my criticism of Carrick is nothing to do with Moyes. As for the rest of your post, I'm not just talking about running around. Is that the only way judge a player's attitude? He makes no effort on his positional play (which is what he used to excel at to intercept passes, he doesnt put in any midfield tackles, his passing is **** and his general demeanor as he mopes around the pitch is someone who does not give a ****. It's not rocket science to spot a player who's given up. Compare him to Fletcher who at least tries.
To add UIR the reason I brought up Carrick and Rooney is bcos they were to blame for why we didnt take a lead in the the first half. I also later posted to say in the 2nd half virtually every United player gave up. I try and keep it fair and give criticism where it's due.
But you won't give Moyes 1.5 years. For all these years and seasons of success, can't you accept one or two without? I draw the line at fighting relegation...
Ok then Treble... You say that but what about moyes slumped in his chair, given up. This has happened at least 15 times this season. Each week a new player becomes a scape goat. I will stick to blaming who is actually to blame. The buck stops with the manager. Always. I want what is best for united. Not what is best for moyes. And no, thats not a dig at you.
I dont think they did. You are confusing a lack of confidence with a dont care attitude. Personally I think each to a man cares a hell of a lot and feel so bad about this season they dont know what to do. I also think every single one wants moyes out. Not a single exception. That is all his fault. Weve all heard what moyes has said since day one on how **** we are and how everyone is a pile of ****. I cant imagine the players shrugged this off. Please remember, they are human and I imagine it didnt do anything for them bar make them dislike moyes.
Moyes has his fair share of the blame. The slumping in chairs, the naive post match interviews, some of the team selections and tactics in the past. He deserves criticism. But why I want to give him time is bcos there are 2 pther factors that need to change before I can decide if he's succeeding or failed. First, we have the midfield and defence of a top 4 team, and Second he has players who are playing for him or at least the club. That to me can be claased as giving him a fair chance. That is why I believe ppl are prepared to give him until xmas, it's not some random timeline, it's a timeframe ro assess him following transfers.
These days, success includes getting a top 4 place. What did Wenger say ? A top 4 is better than the fa or coc cup. With fergie leaving, united fans should accept that there will be a period of transition. Ok it is much worse than most people expected. Even if Moyes is the wrong person, we should give him more than 1 season. After that there will be no excuse and no argument from anyone. I will be the first one to call for his head if there is no improvement. I honestly think that the most important factor we are **** is because of the f**king greedy glazers who have seriously underinvested and bled the club. We have been champions in 3 of the 4 previous seasons and yet during that time we have spent less on new players than the ******ed scousers.
Lets imagine this seasons results were identical but the performances were far better. I would b ready to give him time because he would have earned it. Hes not though.
It all comes down to Moyes being inexperienced enought to imagine that his stellar talents from the mid-table would replace those of the best backroom team in the PL. By getting rid of Phelan and Rene (and the rest of the coaching staff) Moyes, instead of thinking he would be the focal point, the big leader, instead virtually isolated himself from the squad who simply don't believe in him and his abilities. This would not have happened with an experienced, successful manager - I suspect there would have been tweaks and minor staff changes but not the wholesale cull that Mayes carried out. Over months the players have lost faith in their manager (note I didn't say leader). In my opinion Moyes should simply have left alone, get a successful season under his belt, develop the confidence of the squad anf them slowly, over the summer break introduce incremental changes to training methods and one or two key personnel. What we can all see now is a fragmented squad with no belief in their manager, his methods or those nobodies (in their view) who are barking instructions from the sidelines. Compound all that with crap signings (I include Mata in that - I belief Maureen was very clever in offloading him to us) - and you see the results.....clueless, bereft of ideas or invention, almost too frightened to attack in numbers. If you brought fergie back for one game you would see a difference - these guys want to play, can play - its just the Moyes effect.
Say what you like about Dave but he's broken yet another record; This season is the first in which both Liverpool and Everton have done the double over Manchester United. Well done. Now get you ****ing coat and get to ****, you useless twat,
