OLM posted it a few months back but this is the first official confirmation.

Great news, we should get a bespoke kit rather than some teamwear ****e and Umbro just don't make bad kits.

Which was our last Umbro kit? It seems a while.

Never mind I think I've found out it was our last PL season.

I'd very surprised if we saw our new kit, both adidas' and Cash Converters' deals probably run until the end of the season (i.e. the end of May/June whenever it is)

Just glad it isn't Macron and I'm hoping we don't get Poundland as our new sponsor.

Finally we get rid of Adidas & trash converters, it's just a shame the new shirt will have a butchered logo on it, assads orders.

Interesting that the Umbro quote says "we have designed..." past tense so perhaps this is being rushed through for the cup final. I wonder when the deals with Adidas and Cash Converters officially end? Obviously they would want their names on our cup final shirts.

How do kit deals work? Do we pay them to design and make the shirts or what?

I don't think it can be. As TWF said before, Adidas and Cash Converters have a contract until the end of the season - I can't see either of them likely to accept losing out on the publicity of a cup final.

Where the likes of Chelsea have worn a new kit for the final, I think they have been keeping both the sponsor and manufacturer into the new season, so it was merely a change of design.

It says that they're the kit sponsors from June 1st, so they won't be doing the FA Cup shirt

Very happy with this, I've been hoping this for months, happy it's official.

I personally think they never made a bad shirt for us.

That 07/08 away kit is still my fave ever City Kit, hope they can do a lot more of the same quality.

Good news, and very well executed in terms of timing of the announcement and getting Geo in/showing the goals we scored in Umbro shirts.

Immediately it seems Umbro are taking us seriously and putting some effort in, like Adidas never have done.

It will also be nice to have some 'unique' kits as well, considering (atm) only us and Everton have Umbro in the top 4 divisions...

(That's probably an outdated fact, but whatever)
