You know what I mean, I don't see how he can take a training session and train at the sametime. At least Parks has the advantage of being long retired, imagine Friedel giving Lloris advice on what he's doing wrong and then rejoining the training session and doing worse than Lloris.
He can do the general training stuff (fitness, etc.) with everyone else and take part in the keeper coaching with Parks, then do a bit either on his own or with the youth sides. That or he could just do what he's doing now and work with the kids the rest of the time. How much individual training does Friedel need, anyway? He's not about to start learning new things now, is he?
Need a good laugh lads- have a look at this http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...-danny-welbeck-transfer-3433194#ixzz2zN9RI2mA Says we need a top class striker! Wellbeck & top class in the same sentence -
If we spend £20mill on Welbeck I won't be able to afford to go to Spurs with all the counselling I'll need.
"If we spend £20mill on Welbeck I won't be able to afford to go to Spurs with all the counselling I'll need." Not even if Timmy wanted the player ??
Anyone think that any of the prospective relegation candidates have any players that we could benefit from picking up? Caulker's the most obvious one, but Stockdale and Marshall probably tick the right boxes, too.
Marshall is a very good keeper...the palace keeper is out of contract in june so he would be good and free....but both want to be first choice so will only come if lloris leaves imo
I once stapled my hand to a table and had to pull my hand off the table and then pick the staple out...I did that in front of a class of 8 year old who pissed themselves laughing at the stupid adult... Hurt like ****...and I would rather that happen every day until I die than sign either of those 2 cocks
I kind of agree but their are some gems to be had.. Defoe, kanute, carrick and parker all came to us from relegated west ham I think. United got keane from relegated forest. We got robinson and lennon from relegated leeds. But to balance that we got bassong from relegated newcastle!
Villa and West Brom could still go down, couldn't they? Benteke, Delph, Mulumbu and Foster. Depends who leaves but I'd take each of them in our squad.
I'm pretty sure we'll sell much more than we'll buy. We've got a couple of deep lying players too many this year out of Sandro, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho and Bentaleb. Dembele seems likeliest to go: a real quality player who just doesn't fit in here. We should probably keep whichever of Sandro and Capoue will still talk to us, assuming that's either one. Paulinho has been erratic all year, but I see us keeping him as he was a big transfer, and shown flashes of being the kind of player we had in mind. We're sure to keep Bentaleb as he still costs nothing, and can in theory fill in both as a passer and something approaching a DM. I wouldn't mind selling Townsend instead of Gylfi. Gylfi scores, he can play a deeper role, and he's a good squad player. I'd love to have Holtby back but he'd have to want to back Eiriksen up, which I'm not sure he would or should want to do. We ought to keep Ade, assuming we can work out an incentive based contract. We will keep Kane, surely. I've wanted Carroll back, but do we really need another deep lying player/CAM? In theory we get rid of Soldado and Lamela, but who will pay anything for them at this point? And, if they won't, why not keep them and hope they come good? A better left back would help a lot. But the one thing that would really improve our team would be a Modric type who could get us moving as fast as possible from defense to attack. With all the players we're likely to sell, surely we could afford to get the best one available...not that I know who that would be. Moutinho's unavailable. Pirlo's too old and unavailable...
