    I know I am biased and willing to be shot down, but I'm sure we don't have as many wild misses as other teams. We miss alright, but don't seem to sky the ball so much.

    No, I think there is something in what you say. Barkley skied it earlier when it might have been easier to be on target. We tend to either tamely pass it to the opposition keeper or do an imitation of Jo Tessum.

    OptaJoe: 13 - Leighton Baines has scored all 13 of his Premier League penalties, the only player to take 10+ and have a 100% record. Perfect.

    I can only assume Sir Rickie hasn't been awarded 10 penalties yet! We need more diving coaching!

    I see ManU have 66% possession, but it's all stuff that England teams would have been proud of. Slow, patient, 1980's euro football, and ultimately it's ineffective, because it gives Everton plenty of time to set themselves up defensively. ManU don't have the individual player brilliance to do it the slow way. They need to take a leaf out of their own ManU football handbook. Pace and Power.

    That's per season or in the PL, presumably. Rickie has scored every competitive penalty he's taken. For Saints he's taken 34.

    I know. I was slightly chuffed that he said it a couple of minutes after I posted. He mentioned the pretty stuff too, which was what I was alluding to as well. Only to call it pretty was being generous. :)

    It's not all over yet - the race for 4th that is!! Might do Manchester United a world of good to spend a few seasons out of the limelight as it has not done Liverpool too much harm.
