A spirited game from Norwich but nothing is going to keep a well deserved title from Liverpool this season . Going to be in the title hunt for years to come with this team ... well done to a classy Liverpool squad .
Yeah not great from BR. He forced himself into a corner putting Moses on. Then had to put Agger on at the end to shore up as we literary had no midfield possession. But it worked!
Lucas was match rusty so odd to bring him on instead of Allen. When Norwich were all over us and we were backing off why bring on more defensive players which mean we sit back even more. We were very lucky today. At least Palace and Newcastle have nothing to play for. Just need a draw against Chelsea and we should be ok.
Yeah okay I think I need to clarify this, I meant it is possible in the worst case, it wasn't meant as a ****ing recommendation
Brendan seems to feel games are over when we have a two goal lead, for some reason, and make bizarre team or formation changes. Against City we let them back in and again today we let them back in. Norwich were great in the second half, don't get me wrong, but WHY on earth would you take off Coutinho who was so influential and retaining the ball beautifully only to bring on Moses? Then he took off Allen, who again I thought was playing well, to bring on a defender? We lost complete control of that game and were lucky to come away with a win.
Were going to do it the hard way aren't we 1 down, 3 to go. Hopefully WBA can do us a favour tomorrow but can't see it happening.
Moses played better when he came on today. Lucas should have been taken off rather than Allen. I ****ing hate it when we go three at the back
Palace and Newcastle shouldn't be the same as they are safe so won't be fighting for their lives. The pressure won us will only get bigger though. Chelsea is going to be a killer!
Always going to be a bit like this as we close in on the title - really glad we dug in and kept that lead. 5 points clear lads
Well, that was tense! Job done, though. Chelsea at Anfield now. Looking forward to it a lot more than Palace away, anyway. Should be a cracking atmosphere at Anfield: penultimate home game; master versus student; Sith Lord versus Jedi Knight!
