Referee has only pointed one way all game - that was right in Snodgrass territory.

 

Pretty unlucky really - 2 deflected goals for the Champions elect.

Not too disappointed, as the performance was much, much better, although the first 10 minutes were a disaster.

 

Great game, no points but if we can play like this against the others we have a chance

 

oh well, great effort in the end. lost it in the first ten.

Despite shocking bafta award winning performances from liverpoo players, a conveniently blind ref we did well there can't really be too unhappy with that performance we made liverpoo look very ordinary at times especially in the second half

Na we paid the price for a poor start. But encouraging signs, hopefully not too late.

 

If we had played with even some of the fight and spirit we showed today for the whole of the season we would be nowhere near the mess we are in now. Why were we so negative in game after game against mediocre opposition? Well, I know the answer but you will say that's history now and I'm just banging the old drum. But a performance like that makes me dislike Hughton all the more for the damage he has done to our club.

 

Even the sky commentators mentioned suarez going down with a broken leg then when play didn't stop jumps up like nothing happened.

About time the fa reviewed this and issued match bans to cheating scum

Agreed that is absolutely shameful! But let's not deny that he is also the best player in the league for a side that are the best in the league. On another day it could have been different - I would say we more or less matched Liverpool this game and lost to a big deflection.

 

That clearly just shows his determination to shrug off a life-threatening injury to try and score.

 

I agree he is a good player. But it irks me that if a player is supposedly so good, why do they feel the need to cheat?
