He's exactly the kind of player we need, too.

And because we have first option on him, it means that other top teams cannot bid for him unless we withdraw our interest. It means that we can take a superb young player from under the noses of United, the Chavs and Manufactured City <ok>
 
I thought i read somewhere that they would let him go early if the terms were acceptable. Hopefully we are looking at other strikers too.

Bonjour all, ive heard links with Podolski again today. I've wanted us to sign him for years, i think he's be a great player for us! What do you guys think?
 
Yeah I'm a big fan of Podolski - reminds me of a younger me!

Wondering how he'd fit in our team - could make a good partner for Pav! Or could he play as a lone-man with VDV supporting? I'm not sure.
 
Croatia - is that actually true? He scored 10 last season in the league for start.

Regardless though, i think he'd really suit the English game and i'd be confident of him being right up there with the goals. :emoticon-0100-smile

Totsfan- the press are already reporting that he has agreed to manage, however Porto say that nobody has contacted them even to offer to pay the get out fee!!
