Ha, you have my sympathies for the last couple of "dream team" years. Not many people have much better reasons for picking a team from my experience..!

I'm a Colts fan - when I decided to get into the sport (after watching only one game and loving it) I wanted to pick a team straight away to make it more fun, the only two players I knew anything about were Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. I didn't like Brady for whatever reason, so picked Manning's Colts.

We've got 26 teams represented on here, check this thread for the list: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/182838-Who-do-you-support-in-the-NFL Needless to say most of them aren't actively represented, but you're lucky that the Eagles are. Mikey is regular in this thread, he's a good lad, and there's another one who posts quite often whose name I can't remember right now..! Not that it matters too much, our gameday threads are usually pretty active with people watching Redzone or any random game so if something interesting happens it'll normally be mentioned.

I think that Luck will have you all asking Peyton who? soon enough. He could go down as the GOAT.

    To be fair there h

as been more good times than bad since I got more serious about The Eagles, the last few years of Andy's reign notwithstanding.

I'm feeling pretty positive about the coming years under coach Kelly too. After all of the hype over the QBs in the 2012 draft, it looks like we might have lucked out and got ourselves the second best after Luck. I'm so glad to have an old school QB in place, in my time supporting The Eagles all we have had has been a procession of scramblers. I've gotten a bit tired of it.

I create and update the live match posts over on JA606, so you probably won't see me much on a Sunday, but I will be on from time to time between games.

    Cheers for the lowdown.

Richard Sherman has been signing autographs with "SorryCrabtree". Good banter there.

Doubt it. At any rate, I'm a football fiend who would watch any old regular season game but I struggle to watch preseason games, even with Colts involved.

Less than a month until the draft. Slightly less excited this year because the wait is longer but normal service will be resumed in a fortnight or so :D

I'm the complete opposite. Was really looking forward to it a month or so ago, and pissed off that it had been moved back, and now I am pretty meh about it. So many rumours floating around about what teams will/won't do is getting even more boring than transfer deadline day.

For the draft here is what Vikings should do early on, 1st round - take Khalil Mack if he hasn't already gone (most likely he has), take Bridgewater if he hasn't already gone. If these 2 are gone then look to trade back and take someone like Barr. 2nd round take a QB like Mettenberger or Garopolo.

Here is what they will do, 1st round - run on QBs mean they panic and end up taking somebody like McCarron at 8, due to his ridiculously fit girlfriend (this is the only reason Ponder was drafted so high) and really cool chest plate tat, 3 more Ponderesque years follow, making the playoffs once due to Patterson having a freakish season. Round 2 take a cornerback in the first 3 rounds for something stupid like the 6th time in 7 years. Like all the others (apart from Rhodes who is only a season in so hard to judge) he will be a massive bust.

    Yeah, I'm an optimist

Yeah that's fair, I think every single team in the top 10 has been linked individually with every single one of the top 10 players at this point.

It's funny because I could genuinely see that happening. For some reason nfl.com guys have really cooled on Teddy recently. His pro day was a bit ****ty but there's only so much you can take from pro days, he's still my favourite QB in the draft.

I feel like our defence is actually going to somehow get worse next year.

    *TUMBLEWEED*

19 days to the draft, who do people want their teams to snap up in the first round? Who will you be happy with?

Rumours going round that none of the top 10 (bar the Jaguars) like Teddy Bridgewater and he may drop to the second round all because of a bad time at his Pro Day - I don't believe it will happen personally.

Apparently rumours believe Jaguars will take someone else in their first pick then trade up back into first round to take TB.

Be good business for them if they succeed - I would take that trade down for the Chiefs for a first rounder next year and their second round this year.

Saying that if TB fell to Chiefs at #23 I think we have to take him although we don't technically need a QB this season - with our limited cap space and Smith's contract ending this season it will set us up for the following season nicely.

Ideally we need a WR, OG and S.

You know, I hadn't actually thought about Teddy to KC, and now that I have it would be my favourite pick in the draft. I'm still a Teddy fan even if a lot of people are going off him, it's said the reason he'll fall is that everybody likes him but nobody loves him enough to pick him early. I think it could be great for Chiefs though.
