Yup. When we lose it's only the result that counts. When we win it's the performance. I believe we were just one point off the relegation spots before we kicked off against Cardiff.
Rodgers had the skillset, experience and connections. He then proceeded to prove his ability to control a Premier League club by making us a Premier League club. Monk hadn't even managed a five a side team before being parachuted in. Three wins in nearly three months later we see what a mistake that was. Monk may well become a good manager in time. Not now though. We're too big to be somebody's training wheels.
