Called each and every one of us a hypocrit with no basis of evidence what so ever! You deserved the insult in all honesty!
I remember Jenson telling him it was a stupid move and that he will be in a better position than Lewis..but what the hell has happened to Mclaren? But you are right about the Bernie part.
I didn't call anyone in particular a hypocrite I haven't seen you but I'm fairly sure over the last four years you've been complaining about Vettel's car, I don't know obviously, but I wouldn't be surprised. And let's be honest, this Merc is as good as them four put together.
It's about to descend in to the usual horse **** that happens when Hamilton wins... so screw it, I'm taking a nap before Norwich/Liverpool. Have at it.
The Chinese Grand Prix was accidentally shortened by two laps because race winner Lewis Hamilton was shown the chequered flag early. Hamilton said on the radio he had been shown the chequered flag before beginning his final lap. The classified results published by the FIA noted that the race was “declared at the end of lap 54, in accordance with Article 43.2 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations”. The rule states: “Should for any reason the end-of-race signal be given before the leading car completes the scheduled number of laps, or the prescribed time has been completed, the race will be deemed to have finished when the leading car last crossed the line before the signal was given.” The error means Jules Bianchi is classified 18th despite having been overtaken by Kamui Kobayashi at the end of the race. What would have happened had Ricciardo passed Alonso on the last lap? Wouldn't that be something?
Just imagine the gloating if Rosberg were winning instead. Is a shame some can't be more open minded.
Never complained about his car, the driver maybe as he does come across as a little arrogant but if you've won 4 wdc's you're going to think you're the best so don't blame him. He is quite lacking in class though with his treatment of team mates and seems to be struggling in a still decent car just not the best car any more!
Well the story that I read by Bernie was that he proposed to Lewis that he should forget joining Red Bull as Webber was still looking strong in 2012 and had a strong relationship with Dietrich. Bernie then said that he should join Mercedes for the 2014 regulations in mind and that Lewis' first response afterwards was "he rolled his eyes at the idea" but insisted he should listen to what Mercedes/Lauda was offering on the table for the future and that Mercedes would come good. Also if Singapore 2012 never happend and he won the race, Lauda said he wouldn't be racing for Mercedes and very likely signed for McLaren again. So funnily in a way Lewis being unlucky in the lead at Singapore in 2012 has actually worked in his favour for probably a record breaking year for him to boost his win tally and a 1-1 battle for the title.
Merc in total control, they finished 25seconds clear of the next "best" car and I doubt Merc/Hamilton were pushing more than 80% for most of that race... I'm a fan of Hamilton but I'm a fan of F1 too.. RBR domination was boring and this will get boring soon as well, unless we have more Bahrain type races.. Rosberg also needs to up his game, discounting Melbourne when Hamilton's car broke down on him, he's been beaten good a proper 2 out of the 3 races they've finished and the other race, when he had the better setup and better tyre's he couldn't beat him. Whilst not winning Hamilton goes well at Spain but Rosberg was mighty impressive at Monaco last year.. Hope Ferrari continue improving, Renault give RBR some more grunt. Nice to see Lotus slowly getting better. McLaren.. WTF!!
Silver, has there been enough Vettel post race? Had to go out so not heard anything from his interviews
My view on why Vettel was 'disliked' by the English media / fans is that it stems from the perceived favouritism he held over the popular (and resident Brit) Mark Webber. Wasn't it in his second championship year where a part from Webber's car was taken off and used on Seb's car in a race? I personally think it's more down to this inter-team battle rather than his complete domination of the last 3 seasons (which admittedly didn't help!)
Well it's the fastest he has been this weekend the interview was pretty short, but he wasn't pleased being told to move over again and having mix ups on his strategy + Kamui overtaking on newer tyres.
He did say that Ricciardo's seems to be understanding the car a little better and the car is working a bit better for him. Vettel also said he needs to up his game a bit more.
