Aside from it being very funny that Mike Dean screwed somebody else, I have to say that he is absolutely unfit to referee. He takes sides in games, we've seen it with Arsenal, and now someone else has got a taste of it. Perhaps Chelsea fans will go a bit easier on us when we complain about him in the future, but I doubt it.
I don't know why Maureen is acting like such a ****. You can see why Dean gave the penalty, from his angle it looked like Azp had taken his leg away. Also as mentioned Chelsea have had their fair share of lucky decisions, the last min pen at West Brom being just one example and also as mentioned Ramieres should have been off the field anyway. Jamie Redknapp is right, Maureen is embarrassing himself with those comments about Mike Dean and Mike Riley. He's spent **** loads of cash on the squad at Chelsea and if he can't beat Sunderland at home, then he has to take responsibility instead of blaming everybody else. He does it everytime Chelsea lose, always looking to blame somebody or something else, be it the ref, another manager, the schedule etc. Bloke has no backbone and he's quickly becoming a laughing stock. It could be a bad weekend for the Chavs. Maureen may have thought he was being very clever in his interview. However, I thought the rule was that managers and/or players were not supposed to make any comment. Plus the sarcasm is just too obvious. A disrepute chatge will at least be under consideration on Tuesday. With the clear video evidence there is no way that Ramieres can avoid a 3 match (or more) ban. And that was some acheivement, as it is for us currently. We win today and that's 11 wins in a row. Win our next 3 and that's 14 on the bounce - Incredible acheivement considering no one gave us a chance at the beginning of the season. **** the money clubs - It just show's team unity and good management is more important.
