We'll be gracious in victory the day Queenie makes a decent post on our board You may be waiting a while
I'm afraid that if I suggested he was illiterate he'd say that he wasn't as his parents were married before he was born.
My parents were married before I was born. But not before I was conceived (it was revealed to me in my thirties, to general hilarity). Does that make me literate?
Wotcha lads ... wasn't the best game today ... key players missing from the starting line up for both sides made it a rather strange and cumbersome affair ... thought Krancjar looked pretty good for you first half but faded after the break ... we edged the game on chances to be fair and Nugent's was a quality finish ... I don't think our formation really suited us and Nugent didn't really trouble your central defenders until that excellent through ball by Drinkwater (again our man of the match) ... also thought Mahrez caused you many problems (as he has everyone we've played since he arrived) ... BAE frankly is a tit ... the first challenge bordered a red (given the rules about both feet off the ground) and the second was down right stupid, given the first ... gives the impression that he doesn't really give a toss about how his actions affect the team ... it's all about him. I have a rather sneaky suspicion that you will win the play-offs - I think Harry wanted to ensure that he has Austin, Doyle, Morrison and Hoilett rested and if you add Onouha, Dunne, Krancjar and Benayoun to those it makes formidable reading ... good luck.
Lots of people with blue tinted glasses on coming on here at the moment, and that's their prerogative I guess, personally I thought for most of the first half QPR were pretty good and were the better side, looked like Leicester had half an eye on the beach already. Pearson obviously 'got into them' at half time as they tightened up and looked far more effective, fair play, that's what happens when players are coached effectively. At the moment, as Rangers fans, it's something we wistfully look on at. Very good finish by Nugent by the way. There's only one reason why Leicester were 'Comfortable', the thread on their page is funny in its total 'one eyed ness' by the way and that's down to our complete lack of cutting edge, Maiga has to be one of the worst footballers I've ever seen, sure he ran about a lot but the chance he had with all that space in the second half pretty much summed it up really. Is it treacherous to say in some ways I hope we don't go up? The lack of coaching and cohesion of the team will surely see us stumble about again like a drunken uncle at a wedding if we do get up there. Oh for someone with a plan A, B and dare I say it a C?
Exactly? You were pretty in between the halfway line and the penalty area but I really didn't think we were under pressure, we were happy to let you have the ball. Second half, we stepped up to second gear and walked it, I don't even think you had a shot on target. If you look at really good chances then then i'd say we had 3/4 to your 1. I don't know why DQPR fans get offended by it. I just thought the better team won. If I thought you deserved something from the game then i'd have said, but I think if we drew that game it would have been an great injustice because we created the better chances. The "but we didn't play our best team" argument doesn't wash. So what? We played what was in front of us. We played a formation we haven't played all season because of our own injury troubles.
Offended? No not me Andy, just saying as I see it. Sure, you had three or four chances but so did we, Maiga's scuff across goal, his rabbit in the headlights moment, the goal line scramble, I recall Schmichael stretching a couple of times? I never get offended though mate, it's only football after all.
Sorry to say but you dont even know what injury troubles means. That is one main factor in your promotion. I saw only 61-62 min of the match but i dont think that our victory would have been horrible injustice either....
It was their first decent shot on target, he made a soft save that was right at him in the first half and an easy save at the end. Schmeichel made 2 easy saves and a hard one close in. Maiga wasted everything else.
So what did you think then? Because I saw a side that dominated possession, created more chances and looked comfortable come up against one that thought they were better than they are and were out fought. We played a new formation today (first time we've played with one striker for about 2 years) so we started a little slow, but once we got going it was a matter of time before we scored. Only Krancjar, Hughes and the Asian winger had a decent games but Krancjar was anonymous in the second. Why on Earth you bother with players like Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Modibo Maiga, Gary O'Neill, James Henry, Nedum Onouha and Rob Green is a mystery to me though.
We've beaten you twice this season, without conceding a goal, are a whole 20 points ahead of you in the league... Yet we're the ones who are "average", and "nothing special"... Riiiight okay then!
Is that correct proud.... have we got to the play offs yet or are you just making stupid comments as is the norm? still a bit to play for i think..dont you?
Just seen yesterday's 'lowlights', what a load of rubbish from both sides. Maiga is a complete tool and that should be the last time he pulls our shirt on, Harry must have been so desperate when he signed that tosser. Looks very likely we'll finish 5th which will mean two games with Wigan with the second leg away, just about the worst scenario possible, well done Harry...
