Palm Friday is when you performed that miracle of tying your ass to a palm tree and walking into Jerusalem. Easter is when Brian got put up on the cross and you sang "always look on the bright side life".
Palm Sunday milk... That's when Jesus robbed an ass and rode it Good Friday is Brian's issue And Sunday is when lfc win 6-0
Right lads, I need to make a sneaky trip to the supermarket now to get some easter stuff for tomorrow, lets have a better poll as I ask what are the chances that they have anything left? Will they have a) Loads of assorted easter treats still waiting for some sod to take them away and hide them in their garden or b) a couple of cream eggs by the checkout with ripped foil? I like to do grocery shopping at night if I can because it's quiet.
There was nothing let at ours yesterday afternoon apparently (my mother told me) With it being a bank holiday weekend, aren't the supermarkets closing at different times?
Got a 24 hour Tescos nearby. Two thirds of the 'seasonal' aisle had been totally rinsed, absolutely bare, but there was a small section at the end with some decent stuff left and a few bits near the checkout. MOTD and a couple of bevvies now. Come on Chelsea! Hahaha
I've got two ASDA's, two Tesco's, a Sainsbury's and two Morrisons nearby, the selves are bare! PS...both ASDA's and Tesco's are 24hr but all shut over bank holidays. But, they also close at midnight over the weekends
This Tescos is 24 hours today as usual but it normally closes at 5 on Sundays and is closed tomorrow. There's also a Tesco Metro close by that's open till 11 every day and tomorrow's no exception, really good to have actually. There's an Asda down the road which I don't really like and a Morrisons and Sainsbos a bit further away.
If I listed the smaller supermarkets we'd be here all night. Mansfield has the record number of supermarkets per land in the UK. They're everywhere
