How can you disagree? I said it changes things with regards to Chelsea as it has pushed them back - which is only good news for us. But we still need 10 points to guarantee the title, so until the games tomorrow are played, nothing has changed for us with regards to City as contenders. Awesome result. Didn't think Sunderland stood a chance, especially after going 1-0 down but boy did they do us a favour. Doesn't change a whole lot as if we lose one, it still puts it in City's hands (better GD), however what it does do is mean that if City drop anymore points in from their 5 games, then we don't have to worry about Chelsea quite so much (assuming they don't beat us). We still need to beat them as 10 points from 4 games is the target (well, 12 from 4 would be nice, 14 games unbeaten to end the season and win the league would be brilliant, although some rival fans will still say City & Chelsea's poor performance lost them the title, not us taking 42/42 from the last 14 games if we win). Just need to do the job tomorrow and hopefully return the favour to the Black Cats then hope Chelsea's head are down and they are concentrating on Europe.

Palace winning that more or less made them safe and today has secured it. With Newcastle already safe too, our last two games look much better on paper now.
