Shame it was Azpi who made the mistake...well 2 mistakes. He should never have gone to ground there. I actually thought it was a pen. Will take another look later.

the contact came from altidore stading on azpi. he went to ground to block a cross and the striker slipped.

Its a joke. Im a chemist, if i make a mistake i get my arsed dragged to court, sued for all im worth and my job stripped.

So why can't refs have the balls to come in front of cameras and explain their decisions?? Theyre too comfy and it shows with the standard of refereeing we have in this country.

Whilst I admit is was not a penalty...Ramires should of seen red...

How the ref didnt see that is beyond me!

To be fair there is contact, except the other way around. Azpilicueta doesn't touch the ball and the linesman flags right away. He can't not give it.

With the benefit of replay we can see that it was harsh.

As for the barge, Ramires had that cancelled out by his red card offense.

You then got 5 minutes extra time. Don't think it was the ref that cost you 3 points.

How does maths on your planet work?

if ramieres got his pen we in all likihood would have been 2-1 up. with rambo's red, down to 10 men.

We still would have been in the lead...so no im not having it he's single handedly cost us at LEAST a point there and it shouldnt be on.

Refs ruin matches so many times inadvertently. But Mike Dean's performance today was anything but.

If he wanted to '**** you over' he'd have sent Ramires off for a forearm smash 2 yards in front of him.

He was appalling, but it was both ways, he's a ****ing ****cunt.

Robbed by a Scouse ref, but we were poor too.

If he had given the Rambo pen, game over.

Fair play to Sunderland, they took advantage. Good luck Mackems staying up <ok>

The Gods were with you today.

Also, congrats Jose on making SB into the greatest fortress in the history of English football.

The record had to go one day.

Fair's fair DR. if you beat Norwich tomorrow you deserve to go on and win the league.

I was hoping we would get second ahead of City at least. That looks tricky now

    Congratulations guys <ok>

Norwich just became a huge mental challenge! Especially with one/two key players missing!

Another few twists yet... have a feeling it'll be decided on the final day.

Was really hoping to give you squeaky bum by beating Sunderland.

A poor performance by us and the ref has prevented this.

Your run has been epic, so you deserve to be on top. But we have made it too easy for you ;(

Hopefully with CL football secured and needing both us and City to slip up in the league you'll concentrate more on Europe than next weeks match.

Good luck against Atletico, if you win those 2 games but lose to us I think it'd suit both sets of fans <ok>

Looks like the Fat Lady is tuning up.......once again the bottom feeders have become our Achilles heel and to be honest it's no more than we deserve; going in to a campaign without a reliable goalscorer was always going to be a huge ask. Credit to Liverpool where it due they have put the weaker teams to the sword and that's where titles are won.
