Please can someone tell me what exactly Skuse brings to the game, awful player in my opinion!! Have to say i dont understand the Green substitution either, 3-1 down and he brings on an awful defensive midfielder, poor poor poor!! Thought Cressy and Smith were ok, Murphy was anonymous and Nouble was played out of position which was not his fault, he appeared on the right at the start of the second half and set up the goal, take note MM!!!!
Its not dead but a glorious opp missed!!

MM is ahead of Bobby Robson apparently Spanish <laugh>

He had an absolute shocker today, but let's put it down to an off day.

Made the wrong decision bringing Green on. Subs made too late and not in the right order. Hunt and Taylor should've been on a lot earlier, not Green.
Hyam is probably better than Skuse in the tackle and at least attempts to play forward passes. He offers slightly more overall.

Mick got it wrong today, without a doubt but heyho!! I have seen Skuse a few times this season and think he is lazy, slow, uncreative and pretty much god damn awful, i cant see how he holds his place in the team and i dont care what he does on the training pitch, its what he does on match day that counts, Mick HAS to stop playing his favourites regardless of how they have been performing!!

I begin to wonder sometimes if MM struggles to know who his best 11 are, or how to play them to the best effect. It might sound a strange statement considering where we are in the league but as shown today, Woody, Williams (Debateably a striker, though I'm classing him an AM) Hyam and Skuse all vying for those central roles, doesnt really work. It sort of creates a midfield square that leaves the flanks exposed, despite Hunt, Taylor and Anderson all being available to play on the wings. (Where was Anderson today anyway?). It then leaves players which should be our goal threats Murphy and Nouble (well... he is a striker by name), to cover the wings, blunting our attack as a result because we have no forward man.

Yes Mick has to take credit for where we are this season compared to previous but he has also cost us quite a few points this season, which is really frustrating!! Before you abuse me Warky, that was not a Mick out rant, just an observation<ok>

Mike, Nouble is no left winger thats for sure!! It really bugs the arse off me, that we had a natural left winger on the bench but would rather play someone out of position instead, its bloody crazy!!

Sorry for living thousands of miles away and still being an Ipswich supporter JWM.
Maybe I should just start following LA Galaxy or something.
As Spanish says, this board would be really slow if it weren't for some people who don't happen to live in Suffolk. I mean, what a crazy idea, fans who can't make matches make use of a football forum to stay in touch and feel a part of the team.
