Jesus, Palarse are winning again! I bet most (me included) wouldn't have wanted Pulis anywhere near our club.

I can tell you one thing, if we end up finishing behind Cardiff then you know how bad our season has been.

Yeah, I've had the same thought. They didn't seem to be doing anything special under the stewardship of OGS, and they still might overtake us.

Late winner for Swansea probably puts them safe now, shame Stoke couldn't conjure up something similar. And now we turn to being Chelsea fans for the rest of the afternoon...

Mark Schwarzer in goal, I see Chelsea taking this one seriously. Think Sunderland will get something tbh.

Swans are safe with that late winner

But overall not a bad day so far
    Fulham 0 PTs
    Cardiff 1 pt
    Villa 1pt
    Swans 3 PTs

Cardiffs last home game is Chelsea

Well I would have taken that set of results before a ball was kicked. By my reckoning, should we pull off a freak win tomorrow, we should be virtually safe. Providing Sunderland fail to win at Chelski of course.
What an incentive, come on Neeyul, put some fire in their bellies, we can do this !

Cech is ill I believe. Depends what Sunderland get really. Mourinho has never been beaten at the Bridge (in the league?), and a point isn't really enough for Sunderland.

I've been thinking the same, a freakish win in one of our last 3 means we'd be 5 points clear with (hopefully) a superior goal difference. That would mean Cardiff getting two wins from 3 (Chelsea (H), Newcastle and Sunderland (A)) or Fulham doing the same (Hull and Palace (H), Stoke (A)).

Whilst you wouldn't say either achieving that is completely impossible, they are at the bottom the league with us for a reason. We've got to pull off that freak win first though, otherwise this is all academic. I can't see either team going the rest of the season without a win.
