Your right liverpool in 02 and Chelsea in 04. Funny how both years we won the league!

So that's 3 times they've finished outside the top 2, only once we finished ahead of them without winning the league prior to this season.

Let's hope there many more to add to that over the coming years! (Preferably by winning the league!)

 

United didn't finish 2nd in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

In 2005 United fans and pundits kept going on about how if it hadn't been for how great Chelski were, they'd have won the league, how they all conveniently forgot we finished ahead of them.

 

Talk about stating the bleedin' obvious. BBC website has two stories this morning one is Phil Neville saying that Man Utd have failed and the other is ****wood saying that he doesn't know what he's doing. I could have told the BBC that a few months ago.

I had MUTV for that season, so I was veryyyyy well aware of all the **** your United pundits were chatting, and that kept coming up near the end of the season.

Why would an Arsenal fan pay money to subscribe to MUTV ?

 

I think it came free with setanta sports or something

 

Setanta only started showing the PL in 2007 so I don't think they would have broadcast to the UK before then but I must admit to not being 100% certain. I do remember them showing Arsenal TV for while

 

I didn't pay for that channel specifically, it came with the box set.

 

I used to watch Arsenal tv until it was pulled

 

And suddenly Chelsea might be catchable.
