Crystal Palace could move within 6 points, hold a 2 goal lead at Goodison!! I pretty much have us pegged for 46 points, can't see another win, and with Palace having 2 of their 4 games winnable.....

Don't like Pullis but he's pulled a miracle with Palace. Great 3-2 result for them and he could still get to us.
Thought Mackems really fought hard for their point, just wish we had as much fight in us.

That's our problem, we just don't have any fight or seemingly the will to win.

You might feel even warmer to us after Saturday.

This Saturday sees the Swans migrate to Tyneside for a 3pm kick-off, with their three season stay in the Premier League still under threat - although a second successive win at SJP would strengthen their hand considerably.

And were that to happen, then Alan Pardew would acquire another unwanted record for his expanding collection; namely that of the first United manager to lose five successive Premier League fixtures.

I can see us scraping a lucky 2-1 victory on Saturday. I don't know why but I can see it happening.

That, plus it could get them some brownie points from their wives for going to the shops with them and carrying the shopping home.

I can see us losing this game by two or three goals.

Swansea have a complete rookie as manager, but i'm convinced they have better players than us... a better team at least.

It's the only way we're going to get a change - we continue this horrific form and then Pardew will have to go <ok>

Newcastle is a massive cub and as a Swans fan seeing what we have done with a fraction of the resources ,you hve to question how much Newcastle is being held back with poor off field management.

The club is punching way below its weight and has been doing for years.

The Swans picked a style of play 8yrs ago and decided to stick to it, every manager was picked to operate within a footballing framework that meant player turnover was minimal, thus saving fortunes in paying off contracts and putting high paid players that the new manager didnt fancy in the stands and not on the field.

    Its not rocket science really.

The difference for us iis that we started with a clean sheet of paper where as Newcastle have always needed the short term fix to maintain prem status.

Too many short term fixes will eventually come home to roost though and i think this is where your club is at.

I remember working with a load of Geordies a few years back telling them about how Martinez was going to take us all the way to the premier league by implementing a system of continental football and sticking to it , the laughs were quite funny and rightly so at the time but it shows what a bit of long term thinking can do.

To see a giant of a club like Newcastle floating in mid table and not fulfilling its full potential is IMO a travasty, i just hope your not up for it on the weekend because we need 3 pts desperatley !

I wish your club the very best after Saturday, got alot of time for Newcastle fans and the people of Newcastle themselves, you deserve better than Pardew but i hope he gets it all wrong on Saturday and you lose!!

I hope and prey for a Swans win, i enjoy the premier league and i feel our club have added to the flavour of it by trying to play football not hoofball.

This season Europe has killed us but if we can survive this season then im confident we can get back to old selves the following season.

    PS

Laudrup would be a good manager for your club.

This thread is mainly populated by two sets of supporters confident that their team is going to lose.
Sums us both up ----- at least you've got the points in the bag.
Would love 3 points but can't see it happening.

I note that the markets on Betfair and Betdaq have Dinas Abertawe as slight favourites for this one.

Not sure of my strategy here today yet. I will ponder over lunch a glass of red or two...

What in the unholy **** formation is Pardew playing? It doesn't make any ****ing sense whatsoever.
