Completely agree with Martinez on this. No excuses for Moyes, he just has not used his squad's strengths correctly:

David Moyes should not blame Manchester United’s failings this season on the quality of his squad, Everton boss Roberto Martinez claimed.
Moyes faces a hostile reception when he returns to Goodison Park and Martinez, who replaced Moyes at Everton last summer, raised the stakes by questioning the excuses given for United’s rapid decline.
The champions trail Everton by nine points with a game in hand, even though Moyes spent £27.5million to bring in Marouane Fellaini from his old club and £37.1m on Juan Mata. ‘They are still the league champions and they haven’t lost anyone,’ said Martinez. ‘It’s the opposite. They have two players on top.

‘United’s squad is bigger and better than people are trying to make out.’
Moyes has suggested he inherited an ageing group from Sir Alex Ferguson, but Martinez believes Jose Mourinho has proved that age is no obstacle by turning Chelsea into contenders.
He added: ‘Who are these United veterans? Rio Ferdinand? How many games has Rio played? Not many and Ryan Giggs hasn’t played many, either.
‘You could look at Chelsea and say they are more of an ageing squad.
In football, not everything is straightforward — there’s no black and white.

‘An ageing squad if you win becomes an experienced squad with knowhow. If you lose, it becomes the players have no legs. It’s something in between those extremes.
‘You look at Chelsea, title contenders, but squad-wise worse than United
    .’

United's squad is not better than Chelsea's but their squad is far better than 7th.

Finally, someone that agrees with me, he has become very cocky recently, Moyes doesn't deserve the crap he's getting from Everton.

he didn't do himself any favours trying to sign Baines and Fellaini for £2 and a creme egg. Swansea fans were well pissed off with Rodgers when he came knocking for players after took over Liverpool. It feels like betrayal to fans

You wouldn't understand, you've had the same manager since you've been supporting United, until this season

Really don't think utd's squad that bad. Top two
under Jose. He would have got a decent season of vidic rio evra for a start.
And developed kagawa. And used players like hernandez

United don't have the squad to play Jose football. They are set up to play attacking football, look at the affect getting an attacking team to play "play it safe football" already this season, it has cost them lots of points.

They did well against Bayern when they borrowed our bus.

Any team can park the bus if they are well organised. Jose could conduct any team in his route master.

    He'd just get them organised

Hes not wrong at all. 100% accurate Infact.

Martinez becomes the first manager to tell it how it is.

A 1 1 draw at home? Also you are using a 2 body equation with only one body, United and not even considering Bayern and how they played.

They conceded 3 at home to City and Liverpool but you use that game to make a point? Tisk tisk

This is a chelsea side who, at times, have been as bad as unites have been this season over the past few seasons.

One having its best league campaign in a while because its managed by a top level elite manager...?

Yeh its not better than united. Its just managed better. Put a moyes there and well... Pretty obvious what happens...

Only Van Persie and Rooney and maybe De Gea would get into our starting 11. Stop talking ****.

You could argue Mata I suppose, but Rooney is better than him imo. Between those two for that role behind the striker with RVP up front. De Gea is having a far better season than Cech. That's it though, the rest are complete ****e, and I mean ****e.
