Never saw them live pity,
Fook didn't know he was a scum fan, guess I'll live with it great band, great songs.
Don't you just hate it when you like someones work, musician or whatever and then find out the're a scum or barca fan?

YES.........but Phil was an Elvis fan..........

Saw Thin Lizzy a few times, once at the now demolished Queens Hall, I also didn't know Phil Lynott was a scum fan, think he was born in Wallsall. or West Bromwich, somewhere like that, but we all have our faults I suppose.
Heard about Malcolm Young today, hope he makes a full recovery
did any of you guys know his older brother George was in a band called the Easybeats, (no, not a millwall tribute band) who had a hit called Friday on my mind? and they're Jocks, £10 poms or whatever

I read it in a book years ago Shako, great live band, they where supporting Aerosmith I think it was and they were playing a blinder, Steve Tyler from Aerosmith was in the wings watching with the band and said "****in look at that,
we've gotta follow these motherfuckers" <laugh>

<laugh> it's all rock n roll to me

I'm in the process of selling my place in Florida. Closing costs are 9% of the sale price - all payable by the seller (i.e. me!!) - 3% to the sellers agent; 3% to the purchasers agent; & 3% to the guys that do the paperwork. You're in the wrong country, Elland ....

.... cue Elland rushing off to the lav with a box of tissues! <yikes>

No income taxes there - what is there to complain about?

Feckin great quote,
Yous ever watched a support band blow away the headliners?

13% taxes on all rental income! Irrelevant, tbh. 9% closing costs is ridiculous. Not sure what it is in California, but closing costs are only about 1-2% here in the UK. I think. Been a while since I sold a place. Elland would know better.

My first ever concert was back in the early 70s at the Glasgow Apollo. Headliners were a big band called America. I was there to see the support, Poco. Poco blew them off the stage. Crowd went wild & Poco did umpteen encores. America eventually came on. Late. And the hall was silent. For most of their set, tbh. Not surprising really - crowd was chanting 'Poco' every time America finished a song. Same at the end of the concert. Then the strangest thing happened - both bands came out & played together! America didn't encore on their own.

I've never seen or heard of anything like it.

Is that the same America who had the hit called 'horse with no name' Jock?
