I went to Comic Con dressed up as the 10th Doctor.

I plan to surpass that in terms of geekiness as I am planning to go to Comic Con in May this year in a home-made costume of the Medic from TF2. So far, I've found where to get the gloves and I'm gonna try and borrow a lab coat from my old school when I hopefully do some more observation after Easter. After that it should be relatively plain sailing, the belt might be a bit tricky and the medi-gun might be too, but I think that just needs to paper mache on top of some cardboard.

 

Yeah, about as big as I could do without going abroad. It's cheap though, the place we've found is about £200 less a month than I'm paying now. Loads of jobs in walking distance as well, which I'd definitely not get at home. Whenever I've been before I've found it about as ****ty as most cities, so that's alright as long as I avoid the proper dodgy areas. I'll miss Southampton and the dogs but that's about it!

Cracked.com posted an article about how GoT is based on the War of the Roses. I totally figured that out before they did.

 

Aaaaand I've just see a dead baby picture on Reddit. That's enough of that website for a few days.

 

Which subreddit? Just wanna be sure not to stumble upon that. Again.

 

/r/FearMe. Clicked random subreddit (I don't know ****ing why because the new trending thing serves the same purpose but without the risk) and it was the first and only thing I saw - seems like a pretty ****ing weird subreddit though, no idea what's going on in there. The "again" bit makes me think it's happened to you too.

 

I went through a phase of just trying to find out how ****ed up that website can get. Needless to say I saw some ****. /r/watchpeopledie is a particularly bad one, obviously. I have come across /r/fearme as well.

 

Wish I had the cash to uproot myself and move away straight after Uni. Unfortunately I can't really do much without knowing I have a job lined up.

 

Christ, why do those places exist? I'm not sure what's going on in /r/fearme, looks like some kind of cult. Searched Reddit to see how many other people knew about it and saw a comment saying the top post was (should probably nsfw this because it's pretty grim)

I've seen that one. The woman who was looking after them (I think it was a nanny) hanged herself also. Fortunately the photo is poor quality.

Some people just want to push their own boundaries. They're completely desensitised to this stuff. Supposedly the worst thing online, which I will never watch, is a video of two guys killing another guy with a hammer. It was a big case in Ukraine and they used the video as evidence in court and clearly someone leaked it.

 

Man that's just awful. I'm much happier pretending things like that just don't happen in the world.

I don't understand how you can ever be desensitised to that stuff without major psychological problems. I saw a picture of a dead baby for all of half a second and I still want to throw up/cry/pour acid in my eyes, let alone going along to look for more pictures of them for entertainment..!

I've heard of that. I made the mistake of reading the transcript of it (obviously I'll never ever watch it) and it's really scarring just reading what happened. Screwdrivers and eyeballs were also involved. ****ing... people, man.

Not sure about the blonde but nawwww she's still adorable. Certainly good standard eye bleach (as is /r/emiliaclarke)

 

The blonde is temporary for something, she tweeted about it.
