True the Powell puzzling substitutions etc.. And he's gone BUT are we any better with this geezer answer ... NO
Can we put Powell behind us, he is not with us any more and some people are having a problem putting that behind them. Powell won six league games in thirty games. In percentage terms Riga is more successful.
True but I could of taken over and our form would of taken an turn for the better BUT honeymoon is over and lately it's been poor no better and worse than a lot of games. If he stays next season then we will see what he's made of with HIS team
As per usual when you can't respond to the point, you resort to insult. You don't need to mention Powell in every post.
Said it all along... No manager would improve this load of cack... I reckon we should try something revolutionary... Get some Championship quality players in, then keep hold of them past January...
Cook I'll grant you as that was the last season, but do you honestly believe Church and Sordell were top of Powell's list of transfer targets? The fact that they were only signed 2 days before the season starts rather suggests otherwise. Are you happy that Riga settled for the draw today (by taking off Church and bringing on Hughes)?
Cut the personals out guys. I thought church had a good game, though never looked like scoring. Agree with MT - he should and could have got up after bogdan took him down. He did his homework and realised bogdan hates to be rushed and is error prone, so fair play to him for that.
Weren't you calling for Reza to play the other day ? So its solely down to his strike partner that he didn't score or play that well? O
Well done Jordan Cousins. Very little came off for him today, yet he never once hid, always was available, and is trying 110% to make a success of what is an unfamiliar attacking role.
So what do you suggest, its easy being negative, if you were a politician you'd be the opposition saying anything to get noticed, but as soon as you have a bit of responsibility you'd forever be blaming the previous administration. We are where we are, one of the forwards was your 1st choice striker, so do you honestly feel throwing Pigot in at this stage will help us or destroy his confidence? José has already hinted he thinks the youngsters may be feeling the pressure, rubbish in my opinion. I am happy to be fan moaning rather than have the real responsibility of picking the team to keep us up. Saw what it did to Chris Powell who cared like a true fan. José may have the advantage in that its just a job to him and if it goes wrong he will walk away from us and probably quickly forget the experience
Hello all, It's good to be back... Yes, Norway was wonderful, and it would appear that I haven't missed much at The Valley this week. Therefore, I have decided to make Monday's trip to Sheffield. Anyone else going? Goodnight.
