All the anger and tantrums from Utd fans because januzaj wasn't nominated, maybe one of them could explain why he should have been ahead of those on the list?
Actually... I do agree with you. In a sport where many people start thinking about their retirement in a few years when they hit their late 20's; 24 being considered "young" is a little silly. There are teams where half the squad is 24 or younger. Sturridge has been brilliant all season, hope he wins some award- but really "young player" shouldn't be for 24 year olds. Nothing new this year though- they've always put old fogies in the young people awards. Sterling being one of the few actual young people on that list deserves the award!
He spent a lot of the season on the bench because his own manager didn't rate him good enough, he made a few mazey runs, got a couple of bookings for diving and scored a couple of goals and helped his team to an almost midtable place. So yeah he's the best.
Who gives a ****? Matt? We have bigger issues so having no players nominated in a season where we have been ****e is pretty straightforward. Moyes however will win manager of the year because some will do anything to absolve him of the blame. Literally anything. The desperate levels some stoop to is hilarious.
Every club has "bigger issues" but its nice to see players who've done really well this season get the recognition they deserve. Clubs fighting for titles in the league or in Europe, teams fighting relegation, teams fighting for financial survival have "bigger issues", in the new order only Utd fans worry about Utd. #inmoyeswetrust
some of the mancs are hilarious on bbc PFa awards, I think UIR must have posted this Reddevil4life 2 Minutes ago Cannot believe januzaj isn't in for young player. He's young and English and better than Ronaldo was at his age! Should be winning it let alone not be in the list. Haters just hating on the BEST TEAM IN THE PL. Everyone knows it but nobody wants yo admit it. Would be lifting he champs league if it wasn't for cheating bayern GGMU #moyesin #chosenone #champions #22times
Its clearly qa Liverpool fan. 22 times? Its your lot who add two made up titles onto your honours list after all.
no problem... he'd been good but not that good. i do still say there'd be rrom for janusaj and coutinho if there were not players like sturridge on the young list. thier inclusion is ridiculous
Coutinho hasn't really stood out at any point in the season. Don't get me wrong he's had some good moments but he's not done enough to get on this list. Sterling, Suarez or Sturridge have always managed to overshadow him at different parts of the season.
There's also 3 Liverpool players nominated (alongside 3 arsenal players) for the women's player of the year.
Looks like the team of the year, attacking wise will be: Lallana-----Yaya-----Gerrard----Hazard --------Sturridge----Suarez
Terrible team that... No balance Not sure who'll win frankly, the sneaking suspicision is that it's despite it supposedly already been voted and awarded (this short list crap is to give 6 players props) that some jiggers pokery might give this to Gerrard but when the guys been great I cannot hand on heart out him above hazard or yaya. Hopefully Suarez has it in the bag and the title is virtually too by the time this pfa award comes out
