Rodgers talking about sporting behaviour is like Mourinho criticising West Ham for playing boring, negative football. It's nice to know that he learned something from his former teacher. Robert Pires probably sits at home watching Liverpool thinking, "**** me, they don't half dive a lot".
Perhaps some of their players could represent their countries in the Olympic swimming diving events.Must be some gold there......
Love how all of a sudden we are a team who gets all the decisions. I mean how else could have a team done do well? Fools
Lived in Houston for a while, went to watch the 'stros a lot while I was there, they almost won the world series.
My brother in law lives in Phoenix and it was 115 degrees when we visited.Hell on earth. One night I was dying to go to the toilet but my wife and her brother were hatching eggs on the two toilets so I had to go in the garden! I believe there are wonderful roses in that spot now!!!!!When you've got to go........
As you know, Smithy, I lived over there for 4 years. I've been to both Houston and Phoenix, on business. Yes, Phoenix is hot - 107F when I visited. But, it's a dry heat, at least. Humidity was around 35%. Houston is probably one of the most humid places I've ever been. I remember standing outside my hotel waiting for a cab - booted and suited for a meeting. I waited about 1-2 minutes for the cab to arrive, by which time I had a map of India under each arm and my shirt was stuck to my body!...
Spot on mate, linen shirt and shorts and sandals instead of a whistle next time you go. And deet instead of cologne to fend off the mosquito's.
Hottest place I've been is Australia at 118 degrees. The only saving grace was that it was in Perth, one of the windiest cities in the world (as well as the most remote!). The Freemantle Doctor realy helps to take the edge off.
It was a few years ago, PMK, I don't think shorts were considered suitable for business appointments at that time. You soon find out why they have those skyways between the office buildings there...saves going outside!...Mozzies!! Those damn things drove me nuts the first year I was in The States.
Yep the walkways between the downtown buildings help and also they have underground shops and bars to protect themselves from the humidity. The eateries and shops and bars are superb but getting from the car and back can leave your armpits and bollocks saturated.
How is this a sudden thing? There's nothing new about Liverpool getting the run of the green. You've had the most penalties in the Premier League since it started, as I've mentioned before, and commentators don't seem to think that there's anything odd about teams getting nothing in front of the Kop.
Our last penalty equalled Chelsea's record for the most penalties so your a bit out with your calculation PNP.
I think you've misunderstood me, PMK. You've had more penalties overall since the Premier League started than any other side.
