I'm pleased to see that Connor is now showing what he is capable of by banging in a couple of goals! He's a top lad and will be a very good player given the confidence he needs. Shame you couldn't hold in for a deserved victory and I wish you guys all the best! <ok>

'Showing' implies that there's some kind of form involved. He's been ****e, all our forwards have been. He's shown in one game he can play well.

I honestly don't know lad as I have long given up trying to analyse this team! I was referring to a few players not just Conor who IMO has failed miserably to live up to expectations. One match doesn't make a player but in all honesty this team and at times the manager are just one big contradiction which puzzles the best of us. Well hey ho I don't know about you but our current situation is just like another kick in the privates and who do we blame?

He did very well on loan at Sheffield Wednesday!

Listen he's still a young lad and still learning the game so he needs time which is something you are short of unfortunately. He can not be held completely responsible for your current predicament.

If your good enough age doesn't matter and IMO he has had plenty of time but hasn't delivered. Don't get me wrong he's a good championship player but as to him making it in the prem still has to be seen. I think Di Canio once said that Connor needs to decide whether he wants to be a model or a footballer so hopefully he has decided on the latter!

Fair enough I was surprised when Bruce came in for him at the time and with a big money offer! He should have stayed with us for at least a season longer but what's done is done! If you go down do you think he will stay and help you go back up or will you want rid?

The problem with Wickham is irreversible. A stream of managers have neglected his development, he'll never fulfil his potential as a result. He's barely played since he signed for us. When he did go out on loan, he's been recalled quickly to sit on the bench, he's barley featured in our u21 squad since he signed. The lad has been robbed of game time when he's most needed it. He should have been on season long loans every season. Sheff wed play a completely different philosophy to us, he did well there but failed to score at Leeds. Championship player at best for me like but that's our fault. Feel sorry for the lad.

Crazy thing is that Bruce neglected him the most.

Roy Keane absolutely loved him and got rid of our other youngster a certain Jordan Rhodes! <grr> I hate Roy Keane for many things but the biggest thing for me was him getting rid of Rhodes and not seeing the obvious potential that these two kids had! It makes me weep when I think that we could and should have had these two playing for us at the same time!

He's only got a year left after this season, he could end up back with you.

Yep and we love Mick too! <ok>

He's getting the best out of Daryl Murphy and the other collection of freebies he's picked up for nowt.

People are quick remember his relegation with us but they forget we walked the Championship with that squad and wasn't the best by a long shot. Fantastic man manager. Would have loved him to have had some money to spend while he was here. Hold on to him. He's a cracking manager.
