Hello I am back, not posted a thread for over 2 weeks so I would like to ask what Goalkeeper do you think would be for us, Young or Old Slim or Well built Free agent or a back up to a bigger club Your choice, Please post below!
If I'm Honest i think the way to go is to bring in a; Young, slim, free agent and a old, well bulit goalie from another club. Basically I want a young kid with potential and Simon Royce

And his quotes suggested he may be interested. I don't care what he looks like, how old he is, what his sexual preference is, as long as he can catch a ball.
My preference would be for an experienced old head goalkeeper (similar to Simon Royce or even Jim Stannard). From the PFA list I would choose one from Shane Hicks, Adriano Basso, Matt Duke and Joe Murphy, but they may all command to high a wage.
Would love Basso as he knows the league well and is experienced, Above this level I think as he was good in The Championship, but I believe he is a great standard League 1 Goalkeeper now as he has not played for a while.
reckon brown will be going to leeds if they sell schmiechel as they wont have a first choice goalie and may even recruit him as back up if they dont sell him. he was on loan there earlier in the season as injury cover so they must rate him slightly. if they pass up on him maybe he could fall to us. if they go for him we wont be able to beat them on wages i'd have thought but maybe the first team football and coming back to the gills might tempt him espically if schniechel stays
