I'm doing a Graphic Design final major project and part of the project is designing a new crest for Hull Tiger's :emoticon-0120-doh:

I'm hoping to get some feedback in what Hull fans would want, (I guess ideally not changing anything, damm allam) but a new crest is obviously on the go ahead.

As part of my project amongst things I will be contacting the club through my dissertation, perhaps I could present mine/our design to the club in some way.

Earlier this season Everton with thier in house design team took on this re-design challenge and ultimately failed. Mainly because of missing elements in the new crest/lack of thought with Everton supporters.

So... my question to you Hull fans whats your thoughts on a new crest?

What would you want to see on it?

What don't you want to see?

The proposed name change lets say hasn't gone down well but this is the project, Hull Tigers it is :embarrassed:
    Any thoughts would be brilliant

i would thought the rule is to simplify the design someway - so as to be able to win any trademark case easier , thats the business side of the design covered .
Other than that i dont know what the Allams would require , - the Wolves design is a classic but to imitate that now would be a bit crass ,

    Yes.

    Hull City AFC is essential.

Also a ferocious looking tiger, rather than a super happy smiling camp tiger. Maybe if you could twist the current one into having a snarl to his mouth and a predatory gleam to his eye.

Thank you for your comments so far, yes the badge I feel needs to be simplified, the illustration of the tiger is too intricate/fussy and im sure it causes a nuisance for working on different sizes and platforms etc

Obviously thier's going to be dismay that it's 'Hull Tigers' but that is the brief and that unfortunately cant be changed. Unless a crest without text; like you said the classic Wolves logo.

Hull City fans would want you to tell whoever set the brief to get better advice before setting such stupid questions.

IF the kit is going to look retro MAYBE embroider just the tigers head directly onto the kit. Beyond that, change nothing.

If the crest design includes Hull Tigers :emoticon-0149-no: it’s doomed from the off

I'd take inspiration from fine art, how about Christophe Fratin's 1845 bronze 'Tiger Attacking a Young Camel'...
