I like to go football to be entertained, amused, elated and sometimes disappointed.
I don't like to pay money to have my nerves put through the wringer for 90 minutes and then have my weekend ruined by someone else scoring a last minute goal, 127 miles away.
I want Saints to be top half, always. Thanks.:)

And generally the nearer the top the better it gets. Give me comfortable cosy mid-table over relegation stress any day. Then again, give me top of the table stress against comfortable cosy mid-table. :)

I just have a feeling it will be Cardiff who cheat the drop, possibly on GD from Fulham.

Looking at the run ins I can see Swansea or Vill a being dragged into it. If Sunderland lose at Man City on Weds I think they are gone. Tragically West Sapm probably have done enough.

You never know. Man City may suffer a reaction to yesterday. Johnson could be inspired against his old club etc

If they had hung on to the 1-2 then I think they would have been back in with a chance on 28.I think they are gone on 26 though.I would rather not be in it but what a great end to the season. It's going to go to the final day again.Any slip up by Liverpool against us,even a draw, will put Chelsea back in the chase.

Never thought I would say it, but I feel for Sunderland. Any team at the bottom who takes a lead twice against a top side deserves better. This season is the best for a long time....so often there is very little to play for on the last day...that could still happen I suppose...let's hope not.

Sunderland draw away at City? All those people giving Norwich zero points from their last four games still confident? This time of the season is fantastic for upturned results.

There was the usual pundit on some obscure show who said that once again the Premier League shows that it is the best league in the world. By that I assumed he meant most competitive, a statement with which I agree, on the whole. However, it doesn't get much competition, save for Serie A, and it has only been really quite exciting in the past few seasons, as far as I'm concerned. I've never got that turned by ManU winning against all opposition, but thankfully, these days there are other clubs in the mix to mess up the predictability. This season's Premier League is genuinely entertaining for the football neutral, but it's one of the few times the competition has actually been fiercer than The Championship, which churns out season after season cliff hangers. Mind you, no playoffs in the PL, and although that's a bit of a shame, I don't see how they could reasonably be fitted in.

I've predicted somewhere for Norwich to get 2 points from their final 4.

If they only get 2 points I think they will go. Can see Fulham winning a couple more.

Well, here are my final predictions for the year. I don't think they've changed too much. Perhaps someone will find the obscure thread that always gets posted at the start of the season about who is going to win and who is going to lose.

    Norwich
    Cardiff
    Sunderland

    In the Championship:

    Blackpool
    Barnsley
Yeovil [Sorry Yeovil. Win the league next season]

    In League One:

    Notts County
    Crewe
    Shrewsbury
    Stevenage

    In League Two:

Bristol Rovers [Think they may blow it]
    Torquay [Doomed]
