Unreal pace by Bale. How far was he off the pitch and he still glided past Bartra. And a cool finish at the end of it. Reminiscent of Henry.

Bale basically kicked it down the line, ran into the crowd, said hello to Cristiano, ran back on the pitch and scored the winner. Can finally appreciate his quality now that he doesn't have to carry S****

Pretty special - and he's stopped his really annoying heart celebration. In contrast, what the hell has happened to Messi?

Barca's implosion is complete. In the space of a week, they got dumped out of the CL, lost massive ground in the title race and now got beat in a Cup final. Ouch.

I can only think that he is saving himself for the world cup or something. He has simply stopped running.

Telling you guys, the 3 best players in the world right now are:

    1. Ronaldo
    2. Suarez
    3. Bale

People laughed when I said Bale is in top 3. Today he showed why he is.

Ummm no, I'd rate Ibra, Costa, and many others as being better than Bale.

Costa> Bale. This season, at least.

Isn't messi only recently back from a decent length injury? Might be still getting into his stride.

Totally over the top to suggest bale and Suarez are better than him though.

Messi has 38 goals this season, and yeah, this is his bad season. And that's 38 goals in 40 appearances.

Bale better than Messi? Lol, ok.

Fact check for everybody too, Messi has won everything possible to win with Barca, and did it in 1 season, he took them all the way....no other player even when they were at the top, did anything remotely similar, not Ronaldo (watch as he won't this season), not NOBODY.

The man if he wants to go can play **** for all his life and nobody can say anything against him. He's literally done everything you can for a club.

yeh but this has been one of Messi worst season in many years.

Might have to do with the face Xavi and Iniesta are getting older and slower now.

They normally supply him a lot of times.

For me he is the best. Ronaldo has had a very good year but the consistent high level messi has achieved over the last handful of seasons is truly phenomenal.
