Three points is three points, but that was very disappointing and borderline embarrassing to beat a Swansea team in 15th place, who were down to 10 men for 75 minutes, just 1-0 and hardly work their keeper. Our finishing was dreadfully poor. A lot of credit to them as they worked very hard you would not be able to tell that they were playing with 10 men, making me worry that we may not find the break through or concede an equaliser. Thankfully our remaining 6-7 matches are all games I can see us getting a positive result in. Two home Premier League games that we should easily win. Our games against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and a potential Champions League final are ones that the team will be automatically motivated against as will the final game at Cardiff if we are still in the title race by then. Swansea for me was our last potential banana skin.
From the disgraceful chanting over the minutes silence - to serial cheat John Terry telling the referee to send off Flores - I came away from the Liberty stadium hoping that we are relegated. I have no desire to be in a division that contains players of the ilk of Mr Terry, who couldn't wait to boast to the press about how clever he was for getting an opposition player sent off! He has slept with the wives of his team mates and shat on many who considered him a friend! But, as far as the Special (needs) one is concerned - the end justifies the means! Really hope Liverpool win the league because if Chelsea do it will be a very sad day for football!
Chanting over the minutes silence is disgusting and you'd hope that this minority would be found and banned for life. However, Chico has tried on numerous occasions to get players sent off. Only have to look at the Stoke game with Nzonzi when he pretended to get whacked across the face despite not really getting touched. Did the same with Carlton Cole too.
Not defending Chico - the guy is a twat - but have had my faith in Premier League football totally destroyed today - can't wait to get back to the Championship so we never have to be exposed to the likes of John terry ever again! Dispicable human being!
Chico - got his deserved yellows - 2 professional fouls = 1 red. Dowd always screws us. It didn't work today. Suarez escaped second yellow TWICE within 30 mins today and you root for them, eh right! so when you get to championship you would get rid off Chico, isn't it?
The chanting during the minute's silence is something that I unfortunately expected. That it was just Chelsea songs rather than anti-Liverpool ones like at the FA Cup semi-final back in 2012 is the only positive. Whilst I would never knowingly make any unnecessary noise during a minute's silence and condemn anyone who does I can offer some explanation into it if you wanted to know, but seeing as you have already made your mind up of us I won't bother at the moment. All I will say is that it is a very small minority of whom many are probably drunk and are in no way representative of all Chelsea fans. As for John Terry, I would say you are rather precious or have very little life experience if you consider him a despicable human being. Even if that were the case you must not have very thick skin to want your whole team relegated just to not be in the same league as a player from a particular club. All you know of him is what you see of him on the pitch, in interviews and what you have read about him. Obviously it is what you read about him that has shaped the majority of your view on him. I would suggest that you ask any person who actually knows and spends time with him if they share your view about him being a despicable human being. If you can find one person then get back to me.
Well you will be fine in the Championship, because none of these things ever ever happen in the Championship. Championship footballers are all gentleman. Of course, Suarez has not appealed for opposition players to be penalised at all this season. No never At least you can take your women and kids to football safely in the Cship: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...ews/manchester-city-fans-bus-attacked-6984349
Some of them certainly are, but the very vast majority are not. Our percentage of bottom feeders is absolutely line ball with everyone elses', no more no less. This was a particularly poor showing though, no doubt, and most of us are as unhappy as you.
He lacks a little composure but once he relaxes and doesn't try too hard his finishing will return. trying too hard to impress right now. Definitely has a huge amount of promise.
Take your head out of your arse, wake up and smell the coffee. Do you really believe that the referee sent off Flores because of what JT said to him? Slept with his team mates wives? (Last I heard it was only one and that is pure conjecture, did the guy a favour in my opinion). Real Chelsea supporters, (and I mean REAL). Did respect the silence. And most importantly, are you a Sun reader?
In fairness no - your manager obviously had a bit to do with it as well! Have finally managed to extract my head from my arse but sorry I don't like coffee.
In fairness, why write the diatribe in the first place, I can understand you being upset/disappointed at losing the game, but you went on a crusade when the link posted was of Chelsea fans deriding the actions of a few supposed Chelsea supporters chanting through the silence, Given the context of the occaision I would not be surprised if it were not a bunch of your own fans chanting close by to damage our reputation, and as for your comments on Terry, you must be a product of the media hype and believe everything you read, which makes you a knob, by the way I didn't ask if you liked coffee, I asked you to smell it.
